..Confusing!

So.. I started watching FZ today because everyone tells me it's really amazing, but I really don't understand why the male characters look so alike? I might just be tired after being out in the sun all day, but I would really like someone to explain it to me, so I don't have to watch the first episode again.

Wasn't the guy with the now white hair the priest guy? Wasn't his hair brown.. God, so confusing.

Why don't you finish the show first? Show is clear and simple for your little brain.

Everything will be explained buddy. Just finish the show. Then again, it still will most likely be a bit confusing to you.

No offense, but it just sounds like you didn't pay much attention. F/Z is a very straightforward show. You not being able to remember character designs/names could happen with every anime, it's not F/Zs fault.
If you think that the priest and the white-haired guy are the same character, maybe you should rewatch it after all. Or did I misunderstand your issue?
I probably regret this post by now.

Yeah I agree Ufotable fails terribly in character designs.
All credit goes to Sacred.

Well it is first episode and I can admit that I wasn't too focused in the beginning. But it's exactly these two that I was a bit confused about, thank you for the help though.

Except for the ending if you go into F/Z without knowing anything about the Fate series.

Most of the characters are introduced In episode 1, except maybe three.

Because they introduce so many characters in a single episode, it can be a bit overwhelming. Give it a few more episode and you'll get used to it.
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

If you continue watching, it should not take that much time to grow used to each character's appearance, voices, relations... just pay a bit more attention and give it time.

Starting with Fate/Zero is a bad idea since it is NOT a newcomer friendly and already expects you to know the rest of the story.

Should I have started with FSN?
