| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This one featured Ban as the main character as it includes his past that goes with it. It also shows a more detailed version of he and Elaine's relationship. Cute imo. Well not everything is cute I guess when the demon came. The new content with their relationship and extended conversation footage is quite something though. |

| I thought it's going to be Suzuki-san's character's journey from early time (though it did show during the flashback slideshow) until the time he got immortal life, but it's just FukuJun's character's sister and Suzuki-san's character's story in extended ver. It's still nice to know what we didn't know, though. Wow, his blood grew the plant! Edit (December 23, 2017): w. the TV broadcast complete ver. in 2017, I think they added a little scene (in the beginning, and ED). |

| Is Ban the most popular character? I think it was King but it doesn't matter, they went and picked the only character who we already knew some of their past, since they went over it in the TV series, and left everyone else in the dark, why, why not focus on someone else, sure, sure, doing that outside the main series would be a bit awkward but man, give us something else. At this rate the manga better get 700+ chapter or what the hell is even the point of the "sins". |

| One more time watched their story but this one was better than the last one. At least this shows more details about their lifes for a week and what happened during and after the main battle against the demon! ^.^ |

| Drunk Elaine is best Elaine XD It was really nice to see an extended version of this backstory. Definitely my favourite backstory :) That battle was intense! Dem feels at the end. |

| I really love Ban and Elaine so of course I loved watching this. It was really sweet to watch how happy they were together. AHHHHH!! It's so heartbreaking... </3 But I always wonder. . .why didn't they BOTH drink from the cup? Considering the song Ban sings every attempt he makes to climb the tree before getting shot back down by Elaine (about how a sip gets you ten years, etc etc etc). . .why didn't they share the cup? Maybe I am missing something because I am not very far in the manga..? |
| Not really anything new, but I fully enjoyed this extended version of Elaine and Ban. This was definitely one of my favorite parts and it was nice to see a longer version of everything that happened. |

They could've easily made around... 40 episodes (with good pacing and no fillers). Guess they didn't thought it'll be that popular? |

| I wasn't expecting a Ban backstory episode---but I'm still super glad I watched this! I'm a big fan of Ban and Elaine's pairing and backstory, so this definitely made me cried watching it animated. The feeeeels. |

| Bandit Ban/Undead Ban is INCREDIBLY HOT! I was totally shipping Ban and Elaine. Their interactions were SO cute. Guess I'll watch the anime now. |
