| The so called Disneypland 3D/2D animation technology could kill the industry. The animation is ugly as fuck. I don't want for it to get mainstream. So, what do you think about this new style and future of the anime? |

| In those anime it looks bad but in Assclass it looks great so I think it would depend on the artstyle. |

| i think that fans should be open to technology like this being implemented in anime. it may look a little unappealing to some (even though i personally don't have a problem with it), but i'm pretty sure that this animation style will definitely improve over time, and hopefully it'll look a lot more appealing. |

| God Eater looks cool to me. I'm more open towards change. This looks experimental if you ask me because it somehow looks like Kara no Kyoukai but less gorgeous. I just hope the story is just as good. |

| The style is bound to change eventually because it has happened multiple times in the past, but I'm in agreement about it being ugly. The current style, pre 2006, old school style all look better. |

| Future of anime will be overflooded by CGI. -The visuals were upgraded but the animation has been downgraded with too many derp face. -Manga adaptations will become rare while LN adaptations will be common. -2-cour shows will become rare while 1-cour shows will be common -Space Opera and Dementia genre died. -Harem, Ecchi and Romcom is the biggest Trend and most overhyped genre. |

| Eh, doesn't seem that appealing to me at first glance, but if that's the way the industry's heading, I imagine I can survive. Hey, at least it's better than everything looking like Flowers of Evil! And besides, I imagine there were many who were dismayed at the transition from painted cels in the late 90s to digital paint in the early 00s MeteorBear said: I stopped caring after computer colors replaced hand painted cels. In the end they will go with whatever will give them a certain level of quality for less price. That didn't take long to occur. And of course, the first few years after a new technique's adoption are always the roughest, as seen whenever ANN takes a look back at an early 00s series and decries the "awful early digipaint animation." |

| I don't judge or criticize something I haven't seen the whole thing. But still I am hoping that future anime would be more interesting than today. Creating or making animation is not easy so not everything would be perfect. |
| 3DCG is the future of anime too and i accept it but that Prison School trailer is like 99% hand drawn/2D animation still, only the opening sequence where the school building is shown through the gate is 3DCG to me |

They have similar animation in a sense that they both use CG but it's less obvious in KnK because of rotoscoping as I've heard. Two out of 30 plus maybe. I think these two will just serve as a stepping stone for other studios if they plan to use CG in the future. |

| obviously art is a big part of anime and the first vid of prison school didn't look too swell except for the showing of the school's gate/front. god eater doesn't look bad at all. basically, i don't care as long as it looks decent or good and not cringe-worthy. o3o" |

| There is a future for anime? NO FUTURE!! Jokes aside, people nag too much about this. God Eater looks ok to me. There is a bit more effort put in shading the faces now. YEAH, UFOTABLE, knew you could do it if you tried. |
