Yeah France has those too, but most places nowadays also have normal toilets too so it isn't that big of a problem, but if you're unlucky you can still find places where you have to stand/squat. My mom and sister always used to complain about it, good times :P |

| People who have never lived--no wait, been-- to a country where many do not have the access to flushing toilets will never realize how wonderful the flushing toilet is. The sight, the smell of all the villagers' piled up feces all in one place, plus the very real threat of life-threatening diseases such as cholera... yes, I definitely think the toilet is one of the best inventions of all time, along with vaccines. |
