[GRAPHIC DESIGN] Make amazing wallpaper in Photoshop with your characters- free and easy!

Feel free to get several backgrounds you want to try- you'll be able to test them with the characters you choose to. Get the biggest you can- at last bigger than your screen size!

Get the biggest renders you can, and in a PNG file format, which are character pics cut out with transparent background around them. Example here.

I have many sources, and its easy to find renders for your favorite character if they are from popular anime or games if you search Google for your anime (or character) name + render. Example for Date a Live in the link below. Try to make sure they are PNG files and large as possible; download them to use in your wallpaper.

To find bigger versions of your render, try dragging the render in Google Images so it can search for a larger version.

Drag the background into the program from your desktop or folder, then drag the render into the program (into its own window) as pointed in the visual example (click for a bigger view).



Go to the Tools window. It should be the window with a series of tools on it like arrows, eraser, paintbrush, magnifying glass, etc on it. Find and click the Eraser option (it should have an eraser icon). It looks similar in all versions of Photoshop. Click it and then go the window with your render, click and hold it over any watermarks on your render and erase them completely as seen below. A watermark is any part of the render separate from the character- like a signature left by the person who made the renders.



Now click the Move tool in the Tools Window and drag the render from its window into the background's window. Now it should be a layer on top of the background! Don't worry about the size or position, you'll be able to adjust that in step 4.
