Yuru Yuri's original creator, Namori, announced on her official Twitter that the Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi! OVA will be broadcast on TV in July. Two new episodes, titled Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi!+, will then be broadcast on TV in August and September.
Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi! previewed at screenings in theaters in November 2014, and was released on DVD and Blu-ray format in February 2015. The first season of Yuru Yuri aired in 2011 and received a sequel in 2012, each completing at 12 episodes.
"But there's nothing wrong to worrying. It's like a wall you need to overcome, to make it to the next level. If you're running up against that wall, it means you're moving forward. I wonder how many walls I've broken up until now, but if you wont move yourself, you will never get anywhere." - Aiko Muto
I want to be happy (I mean, it's more YuruYuri; what's not to love?), but all I can think of now is how I'll have to wait another season before I get to watch them do dodgy completely normal, everyday life things. Instead, I get OVAs. Probably spaced 3 months apart.
Well, can't really complain. As long as they make season 4 sometime, I think I'll be able to forgive them.
What you get: An overaffectionate otaku, mysterious hair, female siscons, not one, not two, but THREE tsundere girls, yuri delusions, the biggest nosebleed in anime history, an obsessive border-line yandere, aaaaaaand the tsukkomi who likes geography.
"If you died, would anyone care? Would they really care? Maybe, they'd cry for a day. But, let's be honest no one would give a shit. They wouldn't. The few people that would feel obligated to go to your funeral would probably be annoyed and leave as early as possible. That's who you are. That's what you are. You are nothing to anyone. To everyone."
"I can take another name, and build a new life.. But on the inside I'll always have that instinct, no matter how much I hate it. I'm yakuza through and through. Guile only gets you so far in this game. Remember that. You won't get another chance."
