| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm so the war continues between the humans and vampires. I think the highlight of the episode would be Mika vs. Guren. Some clever moves used by Guren too with an explosive tag placed on him. Sigh, I wish Ferid didn't interfere in that fight. Guess it would of been inevitable anyways. Decent episode though. A lot of cursed gear abilities shown. Reunion though oh shit. That ending.... |

| Vampires vs. elite team. More when the two are young, thinking that the outside would be paradise. After carrying the injured, the two are ready to resume. Rest of his team met some vampires at another place and are able to take care of rest until the two arrived. Mika guy wanted to fight Nakamura-san's character alone, but there's strategy and Sakurai-san's character stopprd it He killed Nakamura-san's character, who was going to take the pill, when main character, who caught up, killed him. Both are surprised, as I was expected while waiting for the two to meet up. He must be in shock that the preview shown is happening to the main guy. |

| Quite the reunion huh? :D Well I'm sure Mika and Guren will both be fine...well that's my guess anyway. First half felt kinda slow, but we did get a nice kill pose from best girl Shinoa. :D Looks like Yu undergoes some kind of transformation in the preview...interesting... |

| Was waiting for Yuu to finally stab Mika the whole time during the build-up. Hope they cover their reactions more efficiently next episode. I constantly feel that they're trying too hard by adding more flashbacks with dialogue of just dreams and such ending with Yuu being mournful, although it did its damage with what happened in the end. |

| I would have shot a few arrows at mikaela just to prevent him from stabbing Guren..but it seems no one in this anime uses their brains. the whole scene was also predictable as fuck..and this is true for every single episode so far. garbage show overall and it completely fails to deliver on the action part as in many other aspects. |

| First half of the episode was almost entirely anime original. Hey, I like me some anime original scenes, especially if they improve the source material in one way or another, but the ones in this episode were really bad. They completely ruined the fast pacing that the manga had FINALLY achieved in the fourth volume. They adapted the first chapter from vol.4, which was a great chapter. But the horrible animation (Panning stills during a battle of humans vs. vampires that's supposed to be epic? Wit, pls), useless anime original scenes and the slow pacing completely ruined it. I had very high hopes for this anime, especially after reading vol.4, but Wit has managed to ruin it. Bravo. Last 20 seconds or so were really cool though. |

| Ep was okay overall but well That ending was pretty intense at least :O Didn't expect Yuu just charging in and stabbing Mika right away. And honestly didn't expect Mika to be stronger than Guren :/ Did he train and stuff or all this is because of Krul's blood? Ferid sure sent Guren flying tho ^^; Berserking Yu incoming XD Why am I not surprised lol Ashuramaru did say he'd take over if he felt any hesitation afterall :P |

| Quite disappointed with this episode, not a surprise, with episode 9's preview I got hyped up and all.. Only to find out that what the preview showed is actually all what happened during the last few minutes of this episode. *wah* Hope the pace gets better. |

| They should rename this to Owari no Animation. Worse than SAO 2 excalibur arc. It felt like glued pictures together. Episode could be way better but oh well. Plot wise it felt like a wasted episode. We basically saw nothing relevant besides the last 3 mins... |

| Seeing last weeks preview got me all hyped up for this episode. . . and it was boring as all hell. The only good thing about it was that cliffhanger. I guess I'll have to wait another week for their (less stabby) reunion |

| I'll be honest I thought the fight between Mika and the others was pretty good even if most of you say the episode was crap. R.I.P Baka Gurren Mika is strong as hell and that was a pretty awesome reunion I feel like Yu saying he would always be there for his friends means death is coming That preview though, is Yu gonna become a demon. |

| Next episode should be good... Can't wait to see Yuu going out of control... Yuu and Mika reunion, well I guess that should be interesting... don't really care about it. I kind of get annoyed when Mika and Yuu are trying to save each other from the ones that they think, on their own perspective, are the bad people. |

| Dat ending! The preview also looked pretty hype! First half was very meh. Although I really liked the 2nd half. Guerren really got sent flying! I flinched seeing him get flying like that XD Whatever happened to waiting for your opponents to power up? Kids these days have absolutely no respect. |

| They have spent more time animating Guren flying through stuff than animating that damn "awesome" all out humans vs vampires "battle". So anticlimatic . Ending and preview of next episode were only good parts of this letdown episode. |

| The cliffhanger is killing me. I had to replay that last scene a few times for it to sink in. The battle scenes this time really left much to be desired. They were hardly moving while fighting and it was painfully obvious. I really hope that's just because they put all the budget and effort into the next episode. I really like this show but it frustrates me a little that it is not quite living up to its potential. I'm hoping this cour will end with a bang and that frustration pays off. |
