When I was 4, I watched the Sasuke Retrival Arc of Naruto. I had no idea what was going on but it was amazing.

I then did not watch anime till I was 10 with DBZ.

My first anime was Pokemon.
I used to watch it cartoon Network when it replaced x-men which was aired at the same time as this.
Tbh I watched it without knowing it was an anime then and I was probably 3-4years old then.
My first actual anime probably was dbz or naruto

My first anime was technically Shin-chan on Hungama when I was quite little, but I watched my first ACTUAL anime when I was 11 or 12. It was a Saturday, so I stayed up a little late, and they had Super Go-go Anime Hour on SBS. That's where I watched Naruto and Black Butler for the first time.

Hoooly beans, Naruto blew my friggin mind. I absolutely loved it. Black Butler was pretty good too, although being a kid still realizing my sexuality, I kinda drooled a bit over Sebastian.

If Anyone Remembers that they used to Run Naruto on Cartoon Network for a short time.

Well that was my Call and after that the Legendary DBZ caught my eye. And so it Began...My Thirst for Anime. :D

Well so if I ignore the animes which we used to watch on CN (like DBZ,Naruto,Pokemon, Inazuma 11, etc). My first interaction with Otaku World was 2.5 years ago when just out of curiousity I started watching Elfen Lied followed by Death Note, Black Lagoon, and so on. Since then it's my major hobby.

As for manga, my first one was Nisekoi, 1-2 months after I started watching anime. I remember I finished Nisekoi just when its last chapter was published back in 2016. After that, Mangas after Mangas and Anime after Anime. Till today...

My first Anime was Dragon Ball Z. I remember watching it on Cartoon Network when I was a kid with my cousins. I also watched Naruto and One Piece for the short amount of time it was aired in India. I was so sad when they stopped Naruto and One Piece all of a sudden.

It was after my Class 12 that I stumbled upon the Anime/Manga world on the Internet. On July 22nd, 2012, I started watching Anime seriously and started with Naruto...

Anime and Manga are the best thing that happened to me!! Otaku Forever!!!

Not counting Pokemon or Inuyasha which i watched when i was a kid, the first anime i watched was Death Note about 2 years ago. Got it from a friend who told me to watch it and tell him if it was any good so i decided to watch an episode and the next thing i knew i was watching episode 13 at 2 at night

I remember watching Ninja Robot Tobikage on Cartoon network as a kid.

But The one that got it rolling was FMA. It was recommended by an article on the newspaper. I read it in the college library computer. I read Bleach this way as well.

I remember being alone in the library reading manga. The lady at the library used to ask me to stop reading these as they are not "educational".

I remember feeling guilty whenever I turn pages too fast as it felt like I took the details of the manga graphics for granted. But if I read it too slow, i would miss the fast paced action. Reading manga is also an artform.

My first anime was bleach. I was too bored and had nothing to do. I found the bleach file in my desktop left by my brother. It was the first anime I had watched. After that I just got addicted to this anime stuff. I watched Fairy Tail and Full metal alchemist after that.

It is no surprise that almost every indian kid starts off his anime journey with either pokemon or doraemon and it was the same for me too. At that time I didn't even know that it was from japan or was called anime. I thought those were Indian cartoons.

Animax was the channel that use to air 'actual' anime in India and when I was a kid I always thought that that channel was useless since I was only comfortable with hindi dubbed cartoons at that time and also I thought that anime characters with big eyes looked kinda creepy and hence I never watched any anime except Pokemon or Doaremon till the age of 16.( I know, I am such a kid)

But then one day I heard one of my friends talking about the naruto war arc and how it was dragged on for almost 5 years in the anime and it completely blew my mind that any cartoon story could go on continuously for almost 5 years so I decided to research on Naruto.

I thought it was better to watch and understand what the actual show was about so I started with episode 1 and I got so hooked on it that I used to bnige watch at least 30 episodes per day. I even watched the fillers since I initially thought that they were a part of the story.

I was so addicted to Naruto since I had never seen any 'cartoon' like that before, what I was used to was pokemon, and doraemon and I accepted fate and told myself that i'd have to stick with these cartoons forever but I am so grateful to god for introducing anime to me.

After Naruto, it is a never ending journey of watching anime which I will never get bored of.

Later beyblade, dragon ball, and rurouni kenshin. Honestly I don't remember remaining anything else that come into anime

BTW my first completed ones are inazuma eleven series followed by rurouni kenshin

My first anime was doraemon. I used to watch it on hungama. I really don't remember how old I was when I started watching this anime. It was suggested to me by no-one to be real I can't tell a single person in the world who watch cartoons and had not watch doraemon.

I started watching anime in August 2017 I guess... I was in 8th grade at that time
But doraemon was pretty much my childhood xD
But I don't consider it as my first anime, coz at that time I didn't even know it was originally in Japanese lol
But, anyways Kuroko no Basuke was actually the first anime I watched and I was so engrossed in it :p
And ever since I've been reading manga and watching anime \(>u<)/

As far as I can remember my first anime was pokemon when it aired on cartoon network. I was about 6 back then and every evening at 5 my friends used to gather at my place to watch it together.My brother introduced me to it. Next I watched beyblade , digimon and not much afterwards dbz again on CN . I was 8 back then. I came to know about the term anime after watching dbz for like 5 years. However, Hunter x hunter was what got me hooked to anime.

At that time, we bought a TV and got access to Cartoon Network and other channels.
I saw Pokemon, Beyblade, DBZ and Duel Masters for the first time.
And suddenly, I became invested!!

Didn't imagine a thing about my future being tied up this much to the 'Animeverse' then.

My first anime was Full Moon wo Sagashite- from there I went on to Pandora Hearts and many of the other popular shojos. I just finished Boku no Hero Academia and am watching more of the romane shojos cos why not LOL. Are there any series y'all recommend that are like BHA? I've already seen Assassination Classroom but I like shounens like those that are funny and not super long like Naruto and those other ones..

My first ever anime was DBZ without even knowing it was an anime.
Then i watched a bunch of anime shows on Animax in hindi, lol
After that i just stopped watching anime from 10 grade untill i completed my engineering.
just after i finished my engineering, i was on the hunt for a job and during that time i met an american girl just for a short while in the train. The train ride was 3 hrs and i was bored, she was the first person to official introduce me to anime and from then on i was hooked to anime. anime has changed my life a lot.
it's a shame there are little to no anime fans where i live(Pune), i would love to meet up with them and talk about anime

I started watching anime unknowingly with Doraemon. When i somehow got that the Indian version ain't real but is a franchise of a franchise. So then i searched and fell into the Japanese version of Doraemon. Completed almost the entire thing and then never returned until just two years ago, when one of my friends said me what Anime actually was and thus i truly started with Deathnote as the first one shot anime and Fairy Tail as a series anime.

Not a Popular anime aired on Sonic India.
I loved the show as a kid. I watched 3 times. Then Zatchbell, Detective Conan .I kind of understood there is genre of these show and wanted to watch more. And in 2017 stumbled upon anime in hindi dubbed and started watching Detective Conan all 900 episode I don't know why but i watched it.
And then Naruto and other anime.

My first anime was "The Promised Never land", its a relatively young anime as compared to most people's (of this club) anime, my favorite genre is Dystopian fiction and I'm glad I accidentally stumbled upon this amazing anime with the an unforgettable Villain and great setting with well written characters.
I think had just completed reading 1984 and was looking for dystopian fiction (movies, shows books, etc) and other things related to that and accidentally read its (The Promised Never land's) synopsis and completed it in one sitting.

It was either Beyblade or Pokemon, technically speaking. After becoming aware of the term anime, I guess my first one has to be either Baka & Test / Accel World on Animax in 2012. I remember watching Guilty Crown and Oregairu, the Chimera Ant arc of HxH and Golden Time around 2013 as well but the next time I seriously picked up anime was this year (though I did finish Naruto back in 2015 I think) lol and rewatched all of these.

There's still anime that I've seen either completely or almost all of but I haven't added them to my list, because I want to rewatch them. These include DBZ, original FMA, Space Dandy, Highschool DxD, Combat Butler Hayate, The Familiar of Zero etc

This anime shit is addictive

I remember watching Pokemonm beyblade and shows like that somehow from back then I felt they were different from your typical cartoons and I enjoyed them. So I was 11 when I watched an episode of Naruto in animax channel. I really dint know what anime was or anything about it. so I was very much awestruck by that episode. And from then I don't say I watched may anime but I watched some good ones I really love the art the music and everything about it.

i found it while searching for zatchbell hindi dub!!

Well , technically speaking . I started watching beyblade when i was 5 or 6, but i didn't know it was an anime( I never even heard about anime). My First anime according to my records was Hellsing ultimate and i watched it in 8th.

I really enjoyed the gorefest..
