| It's decent at best and not a lot of people actually know about it.. The only thing that's overrated is Shinoa. Considering I keep seeing "best girl" yet for the first 7 episodes she was pretty much jar jar binks. Cringeworthy comic relief and attempts at being cute yet gets praise for being "unique" lol hell no. |

| It kinda annoys me how this show continues to be one of the more watched and discussed this season when it's so painfully average at best. But I won't call it overrated because while it's definitely one of the more popular shows right now, it's not the most loved. Most people seem to agree that it's either average or downright bad. |

| I don't think its overrated like Kekkai Sensen but I can understand why people may dislike it. The MC's share allot in common with Attack on Titan and the show will always draw comparisons. It's best to enjoy it for what it is which is a good action anime. |
| It's definitely NOT overrated but also not underrated. I think it's more like that it gets too much hate. Ppl say it's a copy of SNK and it's pretty boring, but I don't really see that. Yes it is similiar to SNK at some points, and yes it's maybe a little slow without too much action but I absolutely love the characters and I also really like the story. Actually I think this is the best anime of the season. |

| Ehhhh I'd say specifically on this site and a few others like 4chan and such, it's pretty underrated. People can argue that they're hardcore anime fans who only want to see the good stuff but they're actually just whiny and annoying tbh. Elsewhere it's rated just fine I guess. Not like it's spectacular or anything but enjoyable to watch. |

| I'd say it's overhyped before it even aird. Tehn, when it finally did air, it got a lot of hate due to slow start. Also, it got tons of hate from people who compared it with AoT, because of that Eren vibe from the first episode. Vibe was there no doubt, but calling it a ripoff was going too damn far, and I find it hilarious af. So, a lot of hate that actually wasn't deserved. Atm, I think it's underrated. But that will change soon |

I'm not nitpicking on slight personality and motivation differences between the MCs. At that point, you are already answering your own question of if the shows are similar or not. That said, I'm a fan of the manga and the show even if it is mostly stuff that has been done before. But honestly, what isn't? |
