Nisekoi: Episode 8 Discussion

They seriously had to use the entire 13 minutes for such bullshit?

ugh.

What the hell? I came to watch Nisekoi, not a Magical-girl show. To be honest I'd prefer to watch a normal episode rather then this.

It's not even worth all the fan service they put in this episode.

They should've made an OVA and put this episode in it.


At LEAST they change that midway of the episode.

Ichijo comes to help the Onodera family in their shop again!

We see that that Ichijo and Cute-Cockblock imouto have a common interest - cherishing Onodera and Japanese sweets.

But I still don't accept this cockblock.

And of course, Onodera's mom is AMAZING ;D

Magical Patisserie Kosaki Chan is better than the entire anime. Haru fucking ruined the second half of the show though by showing off the worst aspects of the anime while being annoying as hell and also the worst girl in general.

I already dropped the manga but maybe I should pick up the spin-off manga.

I thought I will never watch an magical girl anime.And then Shaft told me: "So Michael I see you like this season of Nisekoi so far.Will you watch ep 8?" Me: "Of course I will,why?" Then Shaft replied: "Nothing,I just hope you will like this weeks episode."

Though I did see the news on MAL about ep 8 being an spin-off episode.Overall a nice episode.

The first half of the episode reminded me of episode 6 of Beyond The Boundary a bit, amusing and done alright, but WAAAY out of place. This is better off as an OVA to be honest.

The second half was very funny as usual. Haru can deny it all she wants, but she is slowly warming up to Ichijo. Sharing a passion in sweet making helped ease the tesion between the both of them.

Well the first half was interesting. The last part of the episode was pretty funny when Haru let go of all the boxes.

Who could have thought Nisekoi could diverse from having a plot further so.

That magical girl part was basically Nisekoi x Madoka x Witch Craft Works. It was ok, but I still prefer the normal Nisekoi.

Well, more Haru and Ichijou shenanigans, I knew she would start falling for him in no time, and it is already starting this episode. I didn't hate Haru as much as last week, though she still annoys me a bit.

The magical girl for the first half was weird.

Haru does not believe that Raku was the one who saved her.

Being a magical girl is embarassing y'know?

Didn't expect to like Onodera's sister actually, since I don't like Onodera herself, but Haru is just so much more interesting than her.

The Magical Patissiere was sort of unnecessary in the actual series, it should have been an OVA. There isn't any more of it, is there? Admittedly, Dr. Maiko was kind of awesome.

Well, the first half would have fit better as an OVA, I agree, but it's not like Nisekoi's plot progression could get any slower anyhow, so it actually doesn't matter now, does it?
Didn't know that it was based on an spin-off manga, however, it felt to me like a Madoka reference because SHAFT, you know. And with the fanservice it was actually quite nice.

The Onodera mother is just glorious. As of now Haru is still mainly annoying.

As a huge fan of Puella Madoka I was quite ecstatic about those 1-2 seconds of Kyubey in the very very beginning.
Also anything with Marika is a thumbs-up from me - I loved how she blatantly showed off her transformation right in front of Onodera and left her blushing. Ahhh, my bold princess!

I'm sort of on-off about Haru, she has such a cute voice but sometimes I like her and sometimes I don't. She's alright I think. If they came out with a nendoroid of Haru I'd probably get it just for the Nisekoi fangasm

Since we're watching Nisekoi, I don't think anyone here should complain about stupidity.

Anyway, I think SHAFT making fun of themselves is one of the best things they've ever done. Maybe I'm alone on that.

Never liked Haru that much.

This was easily the worst Nisekoi episode I've ever seen.
Sigh, this season is a massive disappointment.

Totally useless first half, except for Shuu's part. The rest of the episode, not really that great anyway. Didn't develop a single thing from the last episode.

Haru, for quite a long time she will be like this but she eventually becomes best girl.

Dayuum Tsugumi's outfit was pretty sexy, I have a sudden urge to play the witch class in Black Desert now.

First half was pure comedy for me, second half was just Haru being Haru.

Well that sealed it. Dropped.

Lmfao ppl dont realize 100 chapters of the manga is fillers anyways there hasn't been a plot since first season stop complaining about plot progression cuz this season and 4 more seasons of nisekoi is basically plotless arcs.

Truth. Nisekoi is hardly about him getting together with the girl, that'd ruin the entire point of the series itself - why does the audience think that there's like 20 girls in the anime/manga with barely any plot progression? It's more about seeing a funny anime with cute girls than anything. :o

Personally I still love Nisekoi, it always makes me laugh!

Why wasn't he freaking out about his locket missing in this episode when at the end of the previous episode he was screaming because he lost it?

Wasn't expecting that first half, but Magical Patissiere Onodera was entertaining.

So Raku and Haru only agree on things about Onodera and cooking.
I wish they could get along, but Haru's just too much for Raku to convince.

The only thing I enjoyed this episode was Hana Kana OP. Her voice is so amazing.

I was kinda expecting Raku to appear on the first half as an expy of Tuxedo Mask.

First half was alright but I fell asleep during certain parts of it...Nisekoi is trying to copy Madoka Magica I see lol

Second half was meh but I did enjoy seeing Raku bond with Haru....They make for great siblings in law :)

This season isn't as good as the first one, seems like much will be rushed since we only get 12 episodes.

Doctor Maiko best character confirmed

Was expecting the magical girl spinoff to last the entire ep. Glad that it didn't though, got to see more of Haru's flags being raised.

All that fanservice... the only way to defeat Docturr Maiko. Greatest reason for world domination right there.

I don't know why everyone is hating on the first half, I liked it.

It had some lewd moments with the 3 of them. Onodera's first scene. Marika was just totally shameless, and Chitoge getting hit by the ray gun.

I thought Suu was fucking fantastic too. I was dying. We haven't had a good Shuu moment in a while.

Second half was ok. Just Haru being annoying as usual. Momma Onodera causing trouble was funny though.


I mean, c'mon. How can you hate that?

Wish they didn't waste 13 mins of the ep.. with only 12 eps this season.

As for the second half, it was awesome. More Haru!

I got bored with the first half, but I like the second half.

Can Haru die please? She is literally inducing me rage. I don't find her dumb shit fun.
