The chapter started out quite happily with the wedding of Battler and Beatrice, unfortunately Ange states it was all an illusion as she searches for the truth. Juuza unsurprisingly has been scheming in the background.

Beatrice and Battler, Kanon and Jessica, Shannon and George, all are allowed to pair off at last in the "Golden Land". So closes Hachijo's story for this episode, as Ange muses over the happy ending… alternate interpretations, ahoy!

Hachijo and Jūza also each provide some suspenseful intrigue, of the mysterious and magical for the former, and the mundane and murderous for the latter. It doesn't seem 'this' Ange is likely to have a similarly happy ending…

That's true, an ending where Beato survives is a bad ending for Ange.
