Some art:  This episode had quite a bunch of face palm worthy moments. Wonder if the BDs will be uncensored. Too bad this whole thing was a damn recap. |

| Quite the 4th wall breaking recap :P I guess it did progress tho since Nya-tan got the Snake seal. Gotta admit I loved Shar-tan's monotone's "Nan chatte" XD And getting to see some stats for the Eto-shin was nice too. |

| You know I don't think they were kidding when they said they had a limited budget for animation in this episode which is why most of it is spent on flashbacks...with all the budget that when into the cg fights they're probably saving up for the final battle :P |

| Well done 4th wall breaking recap episode. Shar-tan is quite fun to hang around. She needs more screentime. The only part that I didn't like was the end where Shar-tan gave away her Sol/Lull seal to Takeru as a commemorative keep. That was just another pretext for Nyaa-tan to acquire another seal. I mean, what the hell Takeru will do with it anyways. Average episode. Eyepatches are still cute as always.  |

| So this episode was about traveling with the Hebi Densha. Which looked nice we learned some new things about that girls and about Shar-tan. |

| For a recap episode, this has gotta be the most enjoyable recap episode that I've ever seen. :P Not even bored for a single second. I don't get entertained by recap episodes but this recap was really good! Well, only 60% of the entire episode was recap anyway. Oh, Shar-tan. What a tease. She sure loves to tease Takeru, lol. I've learned a handful of new info about the Eto-shins and the ETM12 from this episode. I'm interested about the past between Nyaa-tan and Chuu-tan because we got a single glimpse of it from one of those spheres and Chuu-tan still doesn't look evil from it while wearing what appears to be a Miko's outfit. Shar-tan had to petrify Nyaa-tan for a while so she could take Takeru to the Snake Train and have a one-on-one conversation with him while showing him various things. She knew how to undo the petrification all along. All according to plan~ And lots of breaking the fourth wall messages from Shar-tan even though Takeru has no idea what's that all about. xD |

| Easily one of the best recap episodes I've seen. Not quite Nadesico level though. Shar-tan proves to be an entertaining character that might serve the series well with more screen time. But while she and the 4th wall breaking were fun, what stuck with me the most were the stats. Were those really Character and Moe that I saw? |

| Etotama: We do 4th wall Breaking right! For once we had an episode that wasn't Nyaa-tan centric, and because of Shar-tan and her unconventionally dry humor, it actually worked. What I find most surprising is that out of the 12 Eto-Shins, Char seems to be the closest to Chuu-tan. |

| Why would they need a recap episode when the anime's so short?! D: Feels like a waste to me. I guess as far as they go, it wasn't that bad with the humour and fourth wall breaking, but still >_< Anyway, seems like something definitely happened between Chu-tan and Nya-tan in the past but she just doesn't remember. I thought the brief re-introductions of the characters were good (but they just rushed past the end ones :P). Nya-tan being turned to stone ... and the antidote is ... CURRY LOL XD Well anyway, that was an easy seal for her to get wasn't it? Looks like we have the horse episode next. Hopefully no more recaps ... :S |

| As a summary, it was so boring, except for the little side had a half story, that small part was something sorvolabile. Too bad Shar-tan not discovered much. Pleasant narration, nice and fun in the right way. Drawings and animations reasonable level, I hope that the next episode digs a little deeper into the characters. Beautiful illustrations. |
