| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lololol, oh this episode was gold, comedy gold with Isla and Tsukasa trying to do some work together. But yeah, I think this series is going back to its lighthearted atmosphere again. The "love scene" delusions are priceless coming from the girls lol. Isla has some confusion about understanding human emotions though... I found the date or whatever between Isla and Tsukasa to be adorable though at the amusement park. Isla's outfit <3  |

| Yeah. I'm really glad that Plastic Memories isn't full of drama in all the way like Shigatsu was (if you even want compare those shows... ). It has far better development. And if authors will decide to do a bad ending, I think that I will be crying like baby (opposite to Shigatsu, which made me wait to obvious person death... And nothing else). Even the comedy part is far better comparing to Shigatsu (which had pathetic humour and very poor execution via shitty chibi faces). Amount of comedy in PM is just alright, not too much, not too offensive, not stupid, just right. PS. I'm comparing it to Shigatsu because in every thread people are comparing those shows to each other, so I wanted to speak my mind about this comparison. 5/5 of course. |

| Isla was pretty damn cute this episode. The date was going well until that end...even when trying to be fun and lighthearted this show can't hide its somber aura. Also, Michiru wants Tsukasa soooooo bad. :D |

The last episode hit like a truck with feels so I'm a bit relieved this episode was more lighthearted. But that again worries me because in future episodes the feels express comes back its gonna hit even harder.  |

| Man, Isla's initial reaction to Tsukasa passing out directly on her chests was pretty amusing, and it was cute how she was blatantly trying to be extra nice to Tsukasa at the start out of love (even if she herself doesn't yet realise that she is in love with him). The date was sweet as well, and it led to be the best scene in the episode (random Michiru segment notwithstanding). Also, interesting detail there in the post-credits scene. Giftia have batteries? That's surprising, given the whole lifespan thing. It's probably not especially significant, but I think it is a pretty interesting detail nevertheless. |
| Last episode is going to be a big depression fest of the season, if not of a year, i can see it coming. Unless they make something like "love will extend her lifespan and sanity" thing. |

| The two distinct groups' views are enjoyable to see. Many cute and funny moments in this episode with Isla being herself. The ferris wheel scene was a chansu! Though fainting is also a pretty nice move one. It is always nice to hear more about the two. |

| I'm starting to love Michiru. When she was discussing with Eru (I hate how she names everything "-cchi") and Isla about the date she looked so beautiful :D. Also great display of tsundere-ism after Tsukasa faints. I wished she had visited him, though. Kazuki looks intimidating when she wants to! And Yasutaka reminds me of Kaji from Evangelion. TsukasaxIsla is absolutely beautiful, I hope this relationship reaches it's peak before Isla's lifespan ends, though. I wonder if Tsukasa's health will be a problem again. I am so going to cry with the ending of this anime. |

| Isla sure talked quite a lot this ep ^^ Man the IslaxTsukasa scenes were cute esp the one when he was in bed. Really sweat <3 And Isla's "Error" all flustered was adorable <3 Lol at Zack's face when he lost the bet XD And how he was teasing Michiru lol...I just love this little guy XD |

| Such sweet episode! (/´ヮ´)/☆゜'・:*☆ I'm getting worried about Tsukasa though, collapsing like that and partly forgetting... In the worst case scenario, i see Tsukasa die when or before Isla gets terminated. That would be true horror D: |

| Nice episode, I liked that the date was normal and no one follow them. I thought that Michiru and Eru were gonna follow, but I am glad it didn't happen. LOL at the after credits. |

| Zack probably wasn't rooting for Tsukasa. His face after he lost the bet with Yasutaka was hilarious! That was quite a cute date! Isla's flustered "Error" was even more so! Tsukasa indeed is lucky for his breakdowns, though it's not entirely a good thing. Kind of wished Michiru went along with her tsundere act to visit Tsukasa. But I guess she knows her place now. I wonder if she'll end up with Tsukasa when Isla will be gone.. Decent episode. Giftias have batteries? It's probably won't play any major role in the story though. |

| I thought there would be some mention of existing human-giftia couple just to suggest that this kind of relationship is common in this universe, and Tsukasa's intention really need some clarification, is he really attracted by Isla or is he just making the last month of her life more bearable. Isla being clumsy probably don't have anything to do with her deteriorating body, just moe, if there's any connection they should not play it just a pure comedy. Although it may be an afterthought, because right now Isla is already attracted to Tsukasa, but it's nice to see some initiative from the MC. At least there is a reason. I'm sure near the end Tsukasa can find more to like Isla, not just acting out of a sense of responsibility. For a Rom-Com anime it is an acceptable episode, the first half is no no until the second half and yes everything is gravitated towards to progressing the relationship between Tsukasa and Isladuring but the show certainly is not lazy about it, in terms of your average Rom-Com anime of course, that ferris wheel scene when Isla said "I've never thought that was so small" is quite beautiful. You can find all sorts of hidden meanings behind that scene if you want and I guess it's what Naotaka Hayashi intended. They've got one important episode right, and it's not that complicated to begin with. It's starting to meet the minimum requirements to be mediocre, but I suspect we'll get at least one more episode 5 later on... |

| Michiru wa Otome. Was a funny part especially Eru who was teasing her. It was a nice episode but we know what's coming, however judging from the looks of things it doesn't seem it will be dramatic. Guess time will tell. |

I know it wasn't specifically said but, the people that they chase after...in the second episode? you know the one that isla "jumps" after they looked almost like a couple to me, a boy and a girl, almost the exact same age looks wise, running away and calling to each other as if they were together. Seemed pretty in your face to me about the implication. Not enough to satisfy my tastes, but given that implication, and the fact no one's really saying anything against them being together, I would agree that its definitely pretty commonplace. as an aside, man, the episode was cute. I wasn't as touched by the date as some people seemed to be, but damn that hand holding scene REALLY got to me. X_X socuteandIwantthemtogetherahhh |

| I've decided it's in my best interest to just pretend that episode 5 never happened. The two episodes since have done a nice job of redeeming the series. Good flow and balance of humor and emotional moments. Feels like they are setting the story up to throw all the heavy emotional tear jerking moments at us in the last two episodes. I'll have a box by my side. |
