Nisekoi: Episode 6 Discussion

LOL, Shu in a nutshell...


The episode kinda made me hungry mainly because of Marika's ridiculous chocolate statue and some other sweets. I kinda wonder how that tasted though...

Some cute chemistry between Chitoge and Onodera I guess.

Every girl (except tomboy girl who doesn't know valentine's day) trying to make chocolate. So it's Valentine's day this time. lol~ he's actually looking forward to receive one. lol @ KajiKaji's character's lie about Valentine's day.

So two girls' chocolates are out from the accident. He still eats that huge gigantic chocolate. lol @ megane girl giving "that" to KajiKaji's character. Main girl and weird hair style girl's talk. They don't realize about the same person they made to, though, and promised to cheer each other... Chocolate baking time together and both are not delicious. lol that girl's puffy face when embarrassed. Fortunately, they delivered separately, so they didn't realize who they want to give chocolate to. "Special Giri"?! What a weird way to say her love.

Almost all of them had cute moments.
Sometimes this show makes me want to go through the screen and punch them all in the face especially Chitoge,Onodera and Raku, when the 2 girls were raising their will to give the choco and then pinky swore not to tell anyone about them having a crush pis*ed the hell out of me since its the same person... Chitoge nailed the gag parts well, Marika too, was not expecting a giant choco Raku statue. Lastly Onodera the highlight!, was not expecting her be the last to give her choco due to cliche romcom, nonetheless she was freaking adorable throughout their convo.

Kosaki's sad face when she broke her chocolate was :( If only she didn't say it was "Giri choco" tho :/

I swear if Onodera and Chitoge seriously can't see that the other one is in love with Raku, they're even more dense than a generic harem protag

This was an episode that was beyond cute.

It won't do anything better though...

This shit is endless and it becomes less and less funny...

Dont kill my hype man.... I dont read the manga so Im very curious about Haru's character.

Ahhh they did Valentines Day, awesome! Very very nice and funny. Loved some of the facial expressions, Onodera was beyond cute.

Next episode Haru?

I am genuinely shocked that it has taken so long for Nisekoi to have a Valentine's Day episode. Granted, it went pretty much as expected (with the exception of Onodera actually making good food), but there were quite a lot of fun moments. Marika's scene with Raku after the chocolate statue was destroyed was really cute, and was probably one of my favourite episodes of the series.

Hopefully Haru shows up soon.

#Teamonodera Rejoice This was our episode. Also a huge episode for Tsugumi fans considering she was the first girl to ever give Raku Chocolates. I liked that moment a lot especially when she wanted him to remember her giving them to him.

The lack of Onodera in previous episodes made up for it in this one...fantastic.

She is perfect. I'm really glad that she managed to give me him that chocolate.

Ichijo the best man. Even though Chitoge messed up her chocolate, he ate it. Although he didn't say it, he sure has strong feelings for her. She's my waifu.

Chitoge and Onodera making that promise, I sure leads to such a cliche harem ending, being the MC has to choose. I can't say I'm a big fan of that.

And again, two episodes in a row Tachibana steals my heart. This is getting a little dangerous. My Raku x Chitoge ship is trembling...

And behind the scenes, Onodera is slowly gaining my shipping points. Will see how it turns out in the end.

The Harem Games have begun. May the odds be ever in your favour.

In summary, a good episode it was :)

Oh my god..... my sides!
That David-esque statue of Raku was awesome! Tachibana for the win! How friggin' hard is that thing to break off the ceiling fixtures like that?!?!?! Oh and you sly girl you! Does Raku not realize that he just made an unconditional promise to her? Hopefully it's just to finish off that second hunk of Chocolate Raku...

Onodera's chocolate cake was a one in a million success, and yet she fell over and crushed it herself... poor thing. It was good that she managed to replicate her recipe a second time, but she ended up sharing honors with Chitoge, for whom Raku would gladly eat salty choco for.

Tsugumi was great all episode, and yet I find myself wondering how her and Chitoge had never heard of the Japanese Valentine tradition before (well... Chitoge obviously knew, but Tsugumi, how can an assassin like you not know foreign customs???).

I cry every time i watch one of these episodes. Not because it is good or anything but because i still don't know why i am watching. To be honest there is nothing i can find that is of any good or originality in this anime that is worth saying or bringing to light that i liked. It's just, boring, repetitive and leads nowhere and don't understand why it does not have reviews like Glasslip. it must be that people are trolling me again.

That statue made of chocolate... I died laughing when that appeared. Marika is so amusing to watch!

Using salt on the chocolate... that's so Chitoge... that's why she's the best.

Chitoge x Onodera!

I loved that Marika's chocolate statue part. That part was fun to watch.

Marika's chocolate statue of Ichijo was overkill, destroying the roof as she pushes it along. Still, it was really nice of Ichijo to eat her chocolate after she crashed it into the wall.

Shu once again is in top form with his jokes. Shame that Ruri never gave him chocolate, but instead gave him a tissue she blew her nose in. XD

Although Onodera was probably the best in this episode, I'm still in the #TeamChitoge camp for now. =D

This is the Nisekoi I wanted to see all along! Finally an episode I really enjoyed.

I know I like Onodera more, but I still like Chitoge, so the moment in the spoiler made me really sad.



Not from Shokugeki but, as someone who is pretty good in cooking (actually knows the deal), you cannot form chocolate with salt. You can sprinkle salt on top just before it starts to form bond but if you mix it with salt instead of sugar, it will never harden to form a shape. Not that I am complaining, Marika's chocolate was so overkill that I am ready to accept Chitoge's chocolate.

Ichijo Raku version 2x David size chocolate,haha.



But man Valentines day in Japan is so popular that it become an anime trope.

Ohh,nice cooking info you got there, well I'll try it and see if the the little amount of salt will ruin the essence of chocolate.

There is a little difference between adding little amount of salt and replacing sugar with salt, haha. Good luck! :D

This episode shows why Onodera is best girl

This episode was amazing! Lol at Marika's chocolate masterpieces. Lol Chitoge might get beat at this rate. Onodera just stepped up her game

I still can't believe they made a Haru cameo in episode 5 and the longest in the OP song, yet they have not properly introduce her in the show... Like what???

Also it's nice to know more romantic development:

1. Tsugumi gave Raku's first valentine chocolate without gunning him down lol
2. Raku now feels bad for Marika after running away from her and decided to be a man of responsibility
3. Chitoge finally able to get the courage to "confess" or in this case give chocolate
4. Onodera and Raku still on secret lovers thing, but Onodera's cooking is good

I'd support a harem route! But if I have to choose #TeamOnodera for the sibling lovers to unite lol~ Although Tsugumi would be nice too, she just increased a lot of points to Raku... damn so many likable girls in the series.

Tsugumu's scene was actually the most spontaneous and looked pretty cute, Chitoge's tsundere act was the same way as usual, Onodera 2shy4u. Meh episode, but looking forward to the White Day.

Haru fans RIP, I'm pretty sure her episode should be about two episodes from now. But since they've not really followed the chapter order so far, who knows.

It's Valentine's Day and ofcourse we are gona have some fun!!! :3

Marika went overboard as usual lmao. Aw chitoge and onodera are working together. Nice to see Onodera finally make some good food :D

episode was nice, had some funny moments :)) can't wait for the introduction of Haru, very curious about that character. ^-^

Valentine's Day is in February. School year starts in April I think. Either they skip a lot of chapters and introduce her next episode, or it will be a while.
