| Well Kajitsu was completely butchered due to how long the VN is yet they tried to cram it into a single cour and unsurprisingly failed miserably. Meikyuu and Rakuen however are nowhere even close to the same length, and thus they don't have this problem in the anime. As a result, they're actually realistically paced (unlike Kajitsu) and for anime-only viewers they'll come across as a huge improvement Soooooo tl;dr yes |

| Season 1 doesnt exist. Its a whole different anime with no relation to a great vn. This is the first (watchable) season of Grisaia. |

| The OVA & 2nd season is better overall in my opinion, but I say that the ova/special (Grisaia no Meikyuu) episode was easily the best thing in the whole series. The last 4 episodes in 1st season were very good and better than Grisaia no Rakuen so far, but the other episodes in 1st season are worse |

| I mean, probably. I haven't watched it since the VN is coming out this year in English, but I heard this season was superior to Kajitsu. If you are into visual novels, I suggest you wait till the year's end and play the Grisaia trilogy in one go. You get a better appreciation for the characters that way. |

Rakuen has the main charas... And heres the problem: The side charas are better developed than the main charas in Kajitsu. |
| That's why I say it was rushed. But nonetheless, in the novel they only develop one character at all, acording with the route you picked, and I think very rushed development is better than no development at all. It's not their fault, anyways, since they had only 13 episodes. I dare even say the first season of the anime had a better ending than Amane's route in the novel, although I'd prefer Yuuji with Yumiko (which IMHO is who needed him the most, considering all their pasts) instead. |
| Definitely, the second season has been great so far, plus from what everyone says, the newest arc that just started last weekend is the best of all. |
