Who will be the series final enemy?
| Since it seems that the serie is starting go closer to its final climax, I"m starting to wonder quite a lot about who will be the final enemy that Gintoki and his allies will have to defeat to find peace. Afterall, Gintama is still a shounen serie more or less and since the manga as going on for l while now with serious battles its even more likely so now. Hmm, I do hope it will Oboro. Even though he is just serving the Tendoshu it seems so unlikely that Gintoki and his friends will be able to fight them directly and face-to-face. Besides, I don"t think series will just throw in a new enemy out of nowhere unlike some other certain shounen series...(whistle) What"s your theory? |

| Some alien overlord...or the Harusame. Or maybe Elizabeth will reveal his/her/wtf's plan about how he/she/wtf was observing the protagonists all this time and now that he/she/wtf knows everything there is to know about them, he/she/wtf will launch a full-on attack. With Russia's support obviously. Or maybe I don't really know. |
| I'd agree with OP, its probably going to be Oboro. No matter how you see it, its just impossible for Gin and others to fight Tendoshu, they are hidden pretty well, and have like hundred trillion guards and members, plus they got no need to come to Edo personally. All the blame is being pushed on Oboro, he's getting revealed as the one responsible for everything. |

| Hopefully it's the Tendoshu because we don't know anything about them except that they're the ones who hold true power behind the Bakufu. That green Amanto who seems to be the leader of the Tendoshu, we don't know anything about him. He has been here since episode 20. So hopefully Sorachi will make an arc about the Tendoshu motives. |
