| It's great that Shuri finally gets closure on this. Obviously no matter what Riki says, he's hurt her enormously, and he knows this too. But it's interesting to see how he is as person, he knows that he's missing something and he knows he has hurt Shuri. I understand why Shuri would cry harder after hearing that Riki doesn't understand Shuri's emotions or why she is crying. It's almost as if he's not alive? I don't think Shuri has forgiven Riki, but she no longer feels negative towards him. At least Riki embraced (good word Stark, it's more fitting than hug in this context) Shuri, it really felt like an official closure. In the flashback though with Shuri's maybe one good memory with Riki, it did seem that Riki knew how to take care of his girlfriend, telling Shuri not to wait for him at the construction site, paying for her, and putting on a bandaid.He might be apathetic, but he still has common sense. I think he had some sort of special feelings towards Shuri, but it might've not been love back then. Maybe he does now, still? Couldn't decipher that panel when he looks back at Shuri getting a taxi...I think the most important part though is that after seeing Shuri's reaction to their "reunion," he realized that he really did hurt her. As for the case, LOL when Riki unintentionally did the "Jesus" pose XD |
