| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dang, a lot of buildup this episode. Loved Akabane and Rio's role in this though and lol'd @ Ritsu. As for the exams, I suppose everyone has their own way of preparing up. I hope Nagisa is ready though. And as usual, I find the series' allusions with the "monsters" and demons to be quite fascinating and well constructed. The big 5 pisses me off though. Who the fuck do they think they are D: |

| A build-up episode? Well, given everything that still happened despite this, I have to say this did a pretty good job. Now, I just wonder how insanely difficult the Principal made those tests and if it's even remotely legal for him to just change the questions like that. Not that the latter matters too much though; it's just a bit of nitpicking on my end more than anything else, especially in a show which completely disregards general logic the vast majority of the time. |
| This Asano kid reminds me a lot of Karma but to make matters worse, he's the freaking son of the principal O_O This kid is really sharp and menacing and I already know that he's gonna have a showdown with Karma so I can't wait to see that I also liked how the baseball guy showed that he isn't a dick like most people in the higher classes so seeing him help out E-Class made me smile....I also enjoyed seeing the efforts that Koro-sensei, Karasuma and Bitch-sensei made for th class too Those people in A-Class are ugly as fuck btw like ewww =/ And I died of laughter seeing Ritsu's sub lol. I figured that they'd do something like that with her since she's an AI so I'm not mad about that whole thing Overall it was a good episode and I'll be rooting very loudly for E-Class to win this gladiator battle ^^ |

| That is some good announcement skills! Just couldn't stop thinking how Gakushu is like a prince waiting for the demise of his dad, or even closer to "puppetize" even the king. Having such a high risk by making that bet with also the exams being extremely hard, this was a pretty nice build-up! Defeat the monsters! |

| Koro-sensei losing his tentacles makes for a tragic yet hilarious story! Quite a clever incentive he threw at his students to do well on the exams. Shindo turns out to be a nice guy; informing the E-class about the Big Five. I thought he would go back his normal/shady self after the baseball game. Principal Aizen's son is just like him, vicious as F! His character kinda reminds me of Karma. Hopeful about them having an encounter in near future. That 3rd rumor about Koro-sensei though.. "Terror! My stalker just went 'Nyuruhuhuhu'!" LOLOLOL! XD Decent episode. Nagisa's monologues and the Colosseum analogy were awessome. Pretty excited about how the exams will go about. |

| Like father, like son. Gakushu seems hell bent on outdoing his father, however he doesn't seem to realise the consequences of knowing the secrets behind Class 3-E. He's probably better off not knowing about Koro-Sensei for now. Ritsu's substitute looks dodgy! XD Hopefully Class 3-E can come out victorious in this test. Good luck! =D |

| LOL at the opening scene, I lost it when he started telling about the kids clones XD That was one big build up, really impressive. The hype is real, really really can't wait for the next episode to see how they handle the Test Colosseum this time! One of the best episodes so far in this series. | Why are the big 5 all male??? With the intense tests the students of this school are getting, they should all be able to skip right over high school and head right to university. This series seems to be heading towards a climax! But somehow there are still several episodes to go; plus a second season. |

| Very good setup episode. I'm seriously loving the relationship between the Principal and Asano, best father and son I've seen, lol. Those terms Asano created are pretty rough, but they also provide a chance for the E-class to know everything about the Principal. Anyway, I'm not sure if hyping up the ''Big 5'' was such a good idea. Realistically, the E-class shouldn't stand a chance, so I'm curious to see what the resolution will be, plus some Karma vs Asano. 4.5/5 |

I checked the official japanese website and it says "Shuugyou no Jikan - Ichi gakki" (Time for the Closing - first semester), so it's not based on the tests and it's not the first part. Well, I said 8 chapters, because I roughly counted the stuff between tests and island arc to the test arc. The name of the next episode is basically the name of chapter 55. I misread the part after the "-", because I thought it would mean "first lesson" and that's how this series is counting different parts of a longer than usual story. So it's possible that they skip Kurahashi stuff, as you said, and after next episode we'll get our anticipated arc :D I will check the preview next week! I think it's safe to assume, that the next episode should cover at least 54-55. Btw. here's the preview for episode 16, so everyone who's interested can take a look: |

| Solid build up episode. Setting up the A Class vs. E Class really well. Looking forward to the Karma and Asano duel. That was telegraphed to the maximum limit possible, the protege's of their respective teachers, the two even look alike! Oh, and Rio further established herself as the best female student in my book! Slashing an ass-hole's nose while walking past, sure, go for it! xD |

| That was a pretty cool ep. I was pleasantly surprised by the principal's son, I was kinda expecting him to be stuck up and a lapdog for his daddy. But he's a very interesting character, and has a great VA to boot. The fact he's in opposition with his powerful father is 1000x better and more interesting than if he just blindly followed his orders. stephen5000 said: Why are the big 5 all male??? | They're father and son alright. Both of them thinking the same thing to do with the other. It's just less appalling and more amusing. I disgust the attitude of those top 5 smartest douches. They're way too confident in themselves. I hope that the E-Class beat them senseless after that. |
| Another amazing episode of Assassination Classroom, great buildup for the upcoming events, gotta love the relationship between the Asanos. Like father like son - both have great laughs. Can't wait for the next episode ^.^ |
