| Motorola Moto G After Google bought Motorola they made it better and the G model only cost me 150$ and is as powerful as my dad's Sony Xpreria that cost him 700$ Its arguably one of the best phones for price currently available. |

| Nexus 5. Used to be big on flashing ROMs like CM11 and/or using Xposed Framework but I'm really happy with Lollipop so I don't need to do any of that anymore. Hopefully Android M will give me an even better experience. |

| Man I've been looking for a thread like this. As a tech nerd I love conversations like these. I'm using an iPhone 5s as my main phone and an Lg g2 as my secondary phone. I'm probably going to get the note 5 to replace my 5s, I'll probably keep my g2 though I just love this phone I got it for 180 dollars and it does most stuff better than my 5s. Anyways to the OP, the G3 is an awesome phone but if I was in your place I would have gone for the G906 version of the s5. ( it has a qhd amoled screen with a better processor) To everyone else who wants to buy a phone and want advice, I'd be happy to give it, most my friends ask me which phone to buy. Just let me know your budget and what matters to you the most in a phone. |

| I've had a shitty motorola flip phone for quite a long time. I usually have access to a PC or laptop, so a smart phone is not really needed. I was thinking of getting one, cause my PC and laptop are aging. It seems like I could replace my laptop with a smart phone. Was thinking a bout the One.Plus Two(or whatever the newest version would be). |

| Sony Xperia Z1. It's ok I guess , I honestly just don't like how long Sony takes for updates , and how every new update that fixes one mistake breaks two more things.... Have had camera issues from day 1 (Software issues). On Android 4.4 pressing the physical button on the camera froze the phone. And on Android 5.0 whenever I view a photo I just took from the photo app it freezes the phone... Have taken it in and they said it's not a hardware issue. (Which I was very sure of anyway) Will most likely get a IPhone 6S in a few months. (Already have an IPad and honestly there really isn't as much of a difference between IOS and Android as a lot of fanboys proclaim.) |

| M8. Imo, it's the best 2014 phone, which is when I purchased it (summer 2014). Pros - Super fast. Faster than the Galaxy S5 at least - Interface isn't globbed by shitty optimization and bloatware (S5, again...) - Good battery life - Extremely good build quality - Insane speakers (which I do use) - Display is as good as it gets with 1080p - Expandable storage Cons - Meh camera. The secondary camera is gimmicky. The shots the main camera takes are usually overexposed and they're only 4mp. - While the build quality is nice, the all metal design makes the phone ultra slippery. I don't regret buying it. |
