We got Children turning into gatorade, Illya chewed by wolves, Meidos being slaughtered, etc, but when it comes to canon material this was very tame. We literally see nothing beyond fire, few obscured corpses and few alive people. |

| Liked the build up for next week. Pretty decent development for Shirou. Lancer was great. As always the scenery was gorgeous so I was just immersed in that world. |

| That was a very nice episode. Probably my favorite up to this point, to be honest. We're hitting the best part of the visual novel right now. Lancer's reappearance was glorious and Rin tsundere moment was pure porn hngh. Really hyped for next week |

| It ended exactly where expected. Overall it was a good episode, although I thought that Tohsaka threatening Shinji and Gilgamesh giving up happened a bit too fast. Otherwise, I enjoyed the original scene and the pacing was good, comedic moments were funny as well. It's just about as good as I could possibly expect considering the source material and the amount of time they had allocated. The next episode is going to be awesome~! e: sigh, people complaining about animation in an episode without action... priorities |

| Slower episode this week. Shirou's face was creepy as hell. I guess him living the other people there is his problem. I would have thought him waking up to hell on earth would be the cause, but guess I was wrong. The Rin-teasing was great. So I can amuse they low key going out now. Seems like the fight with Caster is slowly approaching. Will I get to see Saber Alter.... Probably not, but hope to see her soon. Gligamesh is so op with the basement full of NP. Lol at this guy walking away with the heart like it anit shit. Can't wait for next week. 5/5. |

Shirou is way too complex of a character to GET with small "easter eggs" like that. It is something you do for a side character, but not the actual CENTERPIECE of the story. IT is ironic too because in same episode we get anime original characterization for Kuizuki and Archer of all people... |
