| At a certain period, they were a studio that kept on using the same exact character designer and the same exact cast of voice multiple times. Mainly Rie Kugumiya, Junji Majima, Satoshi Hino. But ever since Sakurasou, their animation has been brilliant, however some people may have pre-judged their recent works and decided to ignore it and therefore still believe they are a terrible studio. |

| J.C Staff has made a lot of stuff, so there is a lot of mediocre shit they've put out, but they've also made a lot of great stuff too. Granted, the good stuff they make are usually romance/slice of life, so that might also be where the hate comes from as well. I like J.C Staff a lot, but that's probably only because I pick and choose their more acclaimed shows and like those. |

But most of their titles roam around " mediocre " category, as I see it. And the number of titles is huge. That's why people dont really trust them as their first choice studio. They're doing a great job currently on shougeki no soma. DanMachi is quite rushed as an adaptation but it's enjoyable. |

| J.C. Staff is fine. Some of the better anime I've seen (Nodame Cantabile, Aoi Hana, Excel Saga) and some of the enjoyable ones I'm watching now (Shokugeki no Souma) are by them. |

| Yeah I seriously don't understand the hate it receives, I mean, sure every studio is hated by some, but for that many to hate on JC is just weird to me. From what I heard JC Staff seems to be nailing the Shokugeki no Souma anime, I can't wait to get to watch the series. |
