| Wow, how did I miss these hints about Rika the first time I watched this series.. Watching it the second time, it's easier to catch all the information they throw at you when I barely knew what was happening the first time I watched it. |

| I guess this arc is sort of like a prequel to the third arc? I think it's a really great decision to finally dedicate an arc to give some backstory to the whole Hinamizawa situation. A lot of questions are still unanswered, though. Rika's "Nii-pa~" was really, really cute by the way. |

| It looked like that this arc wasserves as a prequel, a basic background to the story for the events that have happened from the first arc. That was the time before the serial killings occured every year. When Hinamizawa in a heat tense, about the damn constructions. Of course, this was before the first arc arrived. My concern was that it's a pity knewing the National policeman that served as an agent too sent someone with the same characteristics and typical as like as Keiichi. So, I won't be surprised anymore if he died at the end of this arc. XD Besides that, its like this arc also supposed to be Rika's personality basic building, which for the past 3 arcs hasn't been explored much in a nice length. Well, it's very interesting, a supernatural things already appeared and its very obvious, especially when suddenly a little Rika changed her voice and said something strange. That should be a sign. However, as i said before, as a nice MC he didn't let the chance to revealed the mystery of Hinamizawa village! So, thats it. Its good to see the three big family of the village that led by such a gruesome woman like, yeah, i mean, that Mion! Thats it for now. As a built up phase its okay.lets see the next one.... |

| Damn, I feel like this is gonna be an important arc. But, yeah I agree Rika was adorable lmao. Akasaka is for sure gonna die, or I might be wrong but he most likely will. This is very interesting though, seeing the past and the three great families. They seem shady as fuck but, there's definitely more than meets the eye. Well I am looking forward to how this arc will unfold. |

| So all this stuff happened before the first murder took place. We got more exposition on the 3 big families of Hinamizawa. The third family was the Maebara's right? That lady looked like Keiichi's mom. It must be her. Rika got possessed by Oyashiro-sama or smth? Why do I feel like Akasaka would be the 'chopped-up govt. official'? |

| this shit is so cliched it makes it difficult to watch. the possession, the bland ass fight (?) scene (why are the perpetrators standing around during a physical interrogation?). im trying so hard to make it past this season |
