That looks a bit like a book on acting written by a famous Japanese film director and screenwriter who died back in 1946. His name was Mansaku Itami (伊丹 万作), the father of director Jūzō Itami (伊丹 十三). It was published in 1940. Minako's torn-up book was simply titled "The Theory of Acting", pronounced as "Engi-ron" and written in kanji as 演技論. The title seems to show the author's name as 伊丹 満 which would be pronounced as "Itami Man". The character which comes after that, 著, simply means "written by". So it looks pretty clear that the title and author of Minako's book were modeled on the real-life 1940 book by Mansaku Itami. In addition to that, the very plain tan cover of Minako's book is old-fashioned. Modern books would have a colorful glossy cover. So it is believable that Minako was holding a book that was printed a long time ago. Too bad that the mean blonde girl didn't appreciate what a precious thing she had destroyed. If you don't own a copy of that book, or if somebody tore your copy in half, it turns out that you can read the whole thing for free online. It is a beautiful scan. You just keep pressing the ← arrow to read the next page. But don't press the → arrow since Japanese books are read in the opposite direction from English books. It is for movie directors to learn how to direct movie actors to act. Out of the 13 books that Itami wrote, I didn't spot any books written for actors. If you think that you have what it takes to succeed in the Japanese anime voice acting industry, maybe you should order a copy of this book which was published just two months ago. | I have mixed feelings. From one side this is really good anime, nice MC. But from the other side it was just too simple, maybe I'm too old for this show. But I will watch it probably. BTW art looks like anime from 2001-2003. Not that bad like most of you saying. |

| Hmmm quite disappointed after watching the first episode, even though I've been waited for this since I read the 1st chapter of the manga.. The animation was subpar, voice is fine, though Junichiro's voice could be better. Arts are pretty much the same as the manga, and overall enjoyment? Not so much. Probably GTO is much better. |

I highly recommend to prefer manga this time. It's just beyond horrid, dull expressions, horrible voice acting, really old animation. Well, I kinda expected this, since we are talking about A-1 pictures here which is known for dropping the quality of Fairy Tail 2014 to a whole new level. |

| Liked it more when it was called GTO. Peeps need to leave this poser in the dust and treat themselves to the real deal in Onizuka. Also wasn't expecting A-1 to out-awful themselves after Gunslinger Stratos this season. |

There's so many epic scene Kagami made in the manga, yet in anime it was just a mere dialogue. Especially when Kagami "pranks" that three girls i forgot their name, i didn't understand what's going on. | Animation looks okay-ish. Still, it was pretty good for this genre. That was decent. I agree to the statement of his that voice actors are very special that give life to the character. I like the way he dealt with those bullies. It was pretty sly for a teacher. |

| The animation seems cheap and outdated. Something that could be easily rushed. There is definitely something wrong with the voice acting audio. Suzune's VA isn't very good and I noticed she's a newbie. Still, the story seems interesting from what I remember, gonna stick around for a while to see if it's worth it. |
| Animation was pretty cringe worthy, especially for 2015. I can forgive Suzune's seiyuu for being a newbie, hopefully she improves quickly though. I'll continue watching it, though the manga is still far superior in comparison. |

| Well,the only good thing so far is the teacher and Kamiya Hiroshi as his voice. His sister seems dreadful,along with her VA. Smart move from A-1 getting Kamiya Hiroshi in this thing,probably the only worth reason to watch it. And yeah, Garemn said: Animation was pretty cringe worthy, especially for 2015. |

| I am a little disappointed, especially with Suzune's voice. >.< I feel Kamiya Hiroshi isn't as fit as I thought it would be, I would've been fine if we got Daisuke Ono and also Kana Asumi instead. >_< They went with an older style of animation, which isn't bad, but I feel the art can be derpy sometimes. Hopefully it improves. |

| Yay...one of my fav manga turns into an anime. Really good for the first episode. I think MC sister voice does not her character at all. Overall, very good start! |
