Do I need to watch the first two seasons?

so i'm planning on watching this anime, but do i need to watch the first two seasons or can i just skip them and watch season 3?

how is this a question ... anyways most ppl suggest watching the first two seasons and skipping the last one since the last one was total crap according to most ppl
