Shinrei Tantei Yakumo. It's kinda dark and the romance is still developing but it's definitely there. I've been reading the manga but there is an anime as well. Only season 1 so far though.

There are very short lived yaoi and yuri moments and most of the show has no romance but the ending was satisfying for me.

Berserk - watch the movies though.
Kurozuka - I didn't like it, maybe you will?
Shinsekai Yori - well there is romance and it is dark, but don't depend on the romance too heavily now.
