DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, I'd say that Konan looks like an Angel during some of her past in this episode. And ugh, the oversized ant that Tenten and the others fought this episode is disgusting. Had a slight feeling of that Indiana Jones adventure feel though. |

| That was a nice episode. I'm always for some more development for Tenten because if it wasn't for the fillers, she wouldn't have any development at all. I'm enjoying this filler arc a lot ever since the second exam started. I know the only reason for this arc to exist is to extend the anime, but whatever, I'll take it. |

| Well done, a decent episode. I like Tenten's mini arc (ep.404-405). Tenten was rarely seen in Naruto Shippuuden and so I'm glad she got some own episodes where she takes a step forward. Another good point is that she never (yeah, really never) thinks of Naruto and how he trains with Jiraya. And also Amegakure team is interesting (ok, only their leader). But I think it's the whole arc that is interesting: good characters are introduced, established characters progress and solid stories are told. The only bad episodes of whole chunin exam filler arc were Kiba's mini arc (ep. 402-403) where the only bad characters were introduced (the fatty one), all other episodes were very enjoyable. Honestly, for next weeks I'm not waiting for the next mini arcs although they're enjoyable but I'm looking forward to see Gaara and the Jinchuuriki in action, maybe we see Shikamaru or Konoha jonins like Asuma and Guy again. cunninglinguist said: Elsendion said: I haven't watched any episode since episode 400. There will be mini arcs (2 eps) for every member of the three Konoha teams (still 12 eps) + Gaara and rebellion mini arc + Jinchuuriki mini arc + whole third round + [...]. Perhaps this arc ends at the end of the year. But don't worry, so far it's a good arc. |

| Best part of the episode: Konan assuming the Angel stance while declaring the change of Amegakure. She's so based! >.< Tenten's character development has been pretty good. Next filler episode will be boring though. |

| I really liked this episode, Tenten is awesome! I was really enjoying the episode but then I remembered that Neji died in the war and that made me all sad but also happy because he gets a lot of screen time in the fillers, so we won't have to miss him. But it still makes me sad. Overall, this episode was awesome. I don't mind fillers, but this is taking too long, I forgot where they left off with the main story. |

this animation I really wanna believe that these fillers are just being made to amp up the quality for the final episodes. There's really no other reason why they would make another filler arc when the manga has ended. |

| We all know that in this future where we are in the 4th war, Leaf and Rain are already friends, well done for that! ;) Very nice episode, cause Tenten and Ajisai-san got friends in middle they were disappeared in the ancient tunnels. :) |

| Actually this was a sweet episode. I was really rooting for Tenten. She's trying, and even I kinda doubted her for a bit. I was expecting her to ALSO just take in rocks just in a bigger way. No, she summoned a FREAKING OCEAN (or little sea, but that's still a lot). How freaking amazing is that?? She's strengthened her chakra A LOT and that doesn't sound like it's an easy feat. Like I'm kinda mad that this is filler because if she strengthened her chakra this much then maybe using the fan during the war shouldn't have depleted her chakra that much. That would have been a BIG move for her. Still, I loved this. It really shows that, despite her seemingly always falling behind, her training hadn't been for naught and she grew. It also emphasizes how important just maximizing the basics is. Also, not gonna lie, Tenten kinda showed up Team 8.;; Like honestly, the implications of this episode are kinda a big deal. I just wish it coulda stuck. |
