Is it possible to convert these into bookmarklets somehow? I ask because I can't use userscripts and I know the opposite is possible.

idk, but some store data and make requests, so maybe not all of them (unless you remake them). Not sure though, that's only a guess
But the rest, you'll probably just have to minify and add "javascript:" at the beginning (of course, excluding the // ==/UserScript== part at the beginning and all comments), and unless it's too long, it should be it

i think to remember there was a css used to disable the dropdown list from showing up...

try this:
  /* disable quick search  */
  .incrementalSearchResultList {display: none !important;}

@Darklight0303 I had some free time: http://pastebin.com/X4mqnq5J

I updated the script so you won't notice the difference between ignored users on the script blacklist or the built-in MAL blacklist. If you find a bug don't hesitate to PM me and I will try to fix asap

How can I block that obnoxious witch hat? Blocking the exact url didn't work for some reason I think ublock doesn't block an item if it isn't 3rd party element right?

Edit: Never mind I fixed it somehow.

@Serhiyko

hello

the script for "MAL Show Less Reviews and Recommendations" has stopped working,
i see it active on the page, but the reviews aren't folded anymore, nor there is the checkbox to show/hide them

i've tried to find again the original sorce from greasyfork, but could find it from the list of your scripts

edit. ah it's marked as deleted, so the script is abandoned now?

Since Firefox upgraded itself to the new version a lot of my MAL-related userscripts aren't working anymore and I'm not sure if/how I can fix that. Specifically I'm talking about the script that restored the 'Profile' button in the top left like it was before the changes and about the userscript that highlights stuff you have already watched when you browse the DB. I can probably get used to not having that Profile button anymore but that highlighting script is essential for my MAL experience so it would be cool to get that to work again.

Any help is appreciated!
I probably regret this post by now.

@Pullman

Are you talking about these two scripts?
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/16597-myanimelist-old-header-links
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/7905-myanimelist-mal-series-highlighter

If yes, these scripts work perfectly fine on the new Firefox. It's probably Greasemonkey that has been updated to v4 with breaking changes that causes a lot of scripts to break. You can always try to use Tampermonkey instead: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tampermonkey/

Yeah those are the scripts. And thanks a lot, using Tampermonkey made it work again :).
Much obliged!

You possibly meant http://greasyfork.org/scripts/16597 and http://greasyfork.org/scripts/7905. Contact its respective authors to get support on them

In the meantime I disabled some of (already broken) functionality on http://greasyfork.org/scripts/5641 to make it work again (hopefully I'll get to fix it one day)

The Thumbnail Swapper isn't working for me for some reason.
I changed the MAL address in the code from http to https hoping that would solve it, but nope.
Is it working for anyone?

Edit: nvm i had downloaded this one
https://greasyfork.org/pt-BR/scripts/12371-mal-thumbnail-swapper
which is an older version. this one is working: https://greasyfork.org/pt-BR/scripts/22852-mal-thumbnail-swapper
but now it's breaking recommended anime images...

Thanks for pointing that out, I've fixed it. Original recommendation thumbnails are bigger than the ones that replace them, so no need to swap them

Here is a simple script for seasonal anime pages. it saves 'my list' filter and current category tab and auto selects your previous choices when switching between seasons.
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/44067-myanimelist-mal-persistent-seasonal-view

Other scripts have been so helpful for me, I thought maybe someone will find this useful.

I read the disclaimers before getting a script. It's amazing how much basic shit you need to spell out for people who are supposed to have common sense.~

Anyone got a script to revert the recent change to the people and character lists? I actually want everyone listed under a given letter to load into a single, long list instead of having to navigate through dozens of pages.

OK, the april foosl stuff is over but that character/people list change iS. STILL. HERE.

I find those lists literally unbrowsable now because it takes FOREVER TO GET ANYWHERE. Please. Anyone. Make a userscript that loads the alphabetical lists all at once, just like it used to until a couple of days ago.

Theres no easy way to 'unpaginate' the people/character lists, you'd have to do 50 requests whenever you loaded the one page and grab all the responses and string them together.
