Did this season make you read the novels too?

When Second Raid ended, I thought: Did the 3rd season do that bad in sales? I mean, Fumoffu must have done well to warrant a "sequel" so to suddenly drop in sales, on such a good season is weird. I mean, the first season itself was...well, it was gonzo, so i'm surprised it got 2 seasons out of it when a very impressive season pretty much cancelled the show. I could be way off, but that's what it looks like.

Unless there plan all along was to promote the light novels in which case shamefully it worked for me lol. It's amazing how Kyoto Animation can give us an ending like Clannad After Story but then give us this crap.
