Holy shit, that scream...

Pretty awesome episode though. Liked the way the Owl demonstrated his powers. The fight between Kaneki and Amon was alright. It captured Amon's expressions pretty well and I'm actually impressed at how much he has improved. Not too much dialogues but I think the action speaks louder than words. All this buildup has shown how much Amon is willing to fight.

Loved the Owl's voice as well. "KITTA" ~~~

Only saw the livestream but it is unfortunate we didn't get full suffering.

The transitions for some things felt kinda weird. I was also hyped for amon with arata armor but that lance was awesome. Still don't know what to think of that pre-credits scene especially since Hide just saw noro eat a bitch. (btw that head turn was creepy)

EDIT: Also! Finally we can say that eto is the owl. Idk how some people never caught that.

And now finally we can talk about Eto=One-eyed Owl=Yoshimura's daughter=Takatsuki Sen (Kaneki and Arima likes her works).

Where is my V14? I need my V14 next episode, damn.

Solid episode though, one or two scenes were icky and could have been done better but it was a great episode for me. 5/5

Episode was great but not the best. The Shinohara and Suzuya scene could have been done better. Too bad they didn't show Amon with the Arata proto armor :<

I guess everyone knows One eyed owl was Eto aka Takatsuki sen.

though, it was pretty much hinted everywhere in the anime, kinda ruined the foreshadowing.
like for real, when i read the manga, and this got revealed, i got suprised and started yelling in my room by this plot twist, because back then i did NOT see that coming at all...

though, waiting for people yelling "arima op, nerf plox"

i think the anime skipped over that part, since there is not enough episodes to explain about that.
blame on those people who decided that a 12 episode anime is enough to fill in around 60 chapters of Tokyo Ghoul.

Animation was really off in some parts

Also, Eto already broke Ixa, so I highly doubt V14 will happen now.

I couldn't resist, watched raws. Well I understood everything anyway. Not much dialogue and most of what was said is the same as the manga lines other than my basic JP knowledge was more than enough.

Quite the cool ep :O I guess I'm starting to see the anime original ending now. No Papa Arima vs Kaneki. No Kanekipede vs Arata Amon. Ixa wasn't as cool as I hoped though :(

One thing I'm really really friggin curious about is how the hell Hide was chilling like that with Kaneki at the end??? Wasn't the last we saw of him being spotted by Noro? How did he survive that shit O_o?!

Kaneki vs Amon was pretty different but the animation to it was really nicely done! Good use of budget there. Interesting that they chose Kaneki resisting his Centipede Kakuja mode. Loved the moment he asked for Amon's name. Really cool.

Suzuya got annihilated by Eto though! DAMN! Man was it quite weird hearing Eto's voice as OWL XD The thing I hated most about this ep was NO FRIGGIN "NOW U MATCH!" WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! D: OTL!!!

Papa Arima didn't even get a single line :/ But damn was he friggin BA!! He REKT Eto so bad without even trying lol XD Dude's godly HAX!

Last scene was awesome with Eto's "Hi daddy" with that HAWT smile :3 Quite the sexy body :3 Too bad no ass shown unlike the manga :P

That scene with hide and noro does that mean that in that hide is actually there with ken or is he dreaming? or is hide a ghoul? im kinda confused..

Eto was pretty sexy at the end tho.

And finally Kaneki meets Hide.

Can't wait for the next episode, hope there will be season 3 lol

The changes are so disorienting O.o

Now I'm hoping the show goes a complete different direction compared to the manga.

Wow, that sure was a lot to take in. It was amusing, in a sinister kind of way, to watch her toying with Juzo like that. I'm impressed that Juzo kept on fighting for so long. Kaneki vs Amon was as awesome as I had hoped for it to be, and we finally get some idea about what Tatara can do. And then there's Arima. I figured he'd be powerful based on how people talked about him, but I didn't expect him to be able to hold his own against Eto so easily. He is definitely a certifiable badass.

What!? So the Owl is Eto/the blue-haired author!? I had a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y no idea omg lol :ooooo

I actually like the guy with the glasses though. Those white-haired hot anime dudes just seem to stir something up inside me every time

This episode was awesome! Finally the Kaneki and Hide reencounter! So hyped for the next episode!

Animation was derpy a lot in this episode lol but regardless, it was still a great episode

The Suzuya and Shinohara scene was very sad and I felt bad for both of them. I didn't like that they didn't cut Suzuya's leg off though but whatever, it was still well done

I was upset that they didn't give Amon his proto Arata :( but regardless Amon vs Kaneki was still awesome.....IIRC It was supposed to be Centepede-kun fighting at one point during the match too but we didn't get it :(

Takizawa got rekt....Poor guy xD and I like how Hide ninja'd his way out of that situation lol. Spraking of Takizawa, they kept his foreshadowing in tact but at the same time it messed up Amon's because he wasn't there.....I really hope they explain Amon's situation or at least show us something in the finale

Last but not least.....Papa Arima comes in like a god and goes to work....That scene when he fought Eto was glorious :'DD

This finale will be interesting because from here everything is strictly original and sadly it looks like there will be no V14 :( It was also odd that they had Yoshimura be awake

Poor Juzo...I hope he survives. And Kaneki's friend brought him to Anteiku...

This was filled with despair :/

Shinohara's death and with Juzo getting played by Eto like that :/ Arima was so composed when fighting Eto. Arima's presence changing the tides for the entire battle :O

Kaneki vs Amon was pretty cool, really liked how there were moments of silence throughout the episode. With doom being so near, it really was intense such as Hide getting found.

Good ep, Amon vs Kaneki was pretty good.

Amazing episode, can't wait for the next one to air already.

Man if Arima would start helping more that world would have no ghouls in no time.

Suzuya's scenes could be shorter, they took up quite some time from the episode imo.
Amon vs Kaneki was okay, no Arata though. I liked how they kept Amon's short inner monologue.
Arima's scenes were amazing, he didn't even break a sweat! Eto's scene in the end was pretty great, I really like her voice.

''Yo Kaneki'' I really like this line, glad they kept it.

Why did Kaneki head to Anteiku instead of V14 :( I don't like where this is going, it seems there will be original ending and one of the most intense moments will not be shown. Maybe it's his imagination and he's not in Anteiku? That's what I'd like to believe :p
Anyways, last episode next and I am pretty excited about Hide and Kaneki's meeting. Probably Morita's gonna direct it which is a good thing. Judging from the title of the episode, it may have monologues and thoughts of Kaneki.
