| Series gets really exciting, just as there are only two episodes left. I wish they made this dual season instead. Cat familiar finally shows herself, so kawaii~ And I think Erwina's pretty powerful, lot's of defensive spells not to mention she's the best herbalist in the region. I wish she was more confident, she has the cutest familiar too, cute enough to beat Kana Hazawa-Ezekiel Popu-chan. I hope Joseph kills Galfa, or permanently maims him, cuts off the other arm and a tongue or something, maybe even his dingdong (ultimate insult to a man). That metal arm though, get it.. "metal"? haha rock on! |

| Anyway, I loved the part that OP starting with "I learned of love" right after the "God doesn't know love" scene. Maybe the lyrics was intended. |

| This anime isn't supposed to accurately reflect anybody's theology. It's the script writers taking already existing ideas and then morphing them into something of their own creation for the sake of a story. So for us viewers, regardless of our worldviews, to impose real world religion and theology onto this anime would be a mistake. Moreover, Maria doesn't hold to the church's beliefs due to her living alone in the woods away from civilization for pretty much her whole life. So to fault her for rebelling against God isn't fair when the only God she's ever even heard of is the deistic God of Bernard, a God who is merely wrapped up in Christian formalities, and the God of the archangel Michael, who is also distant yet sets arbitrary and harsh rules. Neither of these Gods have any actual likeness to the God revealed in Jesus. Mod Edit: Removed quote of deleted post. |

| SO will those Valkyries ever make an appearance again? Edwina finally makes a move but she is NONE too happy about it. I was half expecting her to chew out maria as she was rescuing her. Its a good show, and its getting tense. but it really isnt THAT great. |

But people just keep projecting their sentiments about a show religion into real life religion, which I think we should refrain from when it comes to religion because it's such a sensitive issue. | Love the episode! What a way to start an episode by showing us a bloody Ezekiel and injured Vivi :O Though i'm glad Vivi survived! It seems Michael can pretty much use Ezekiel whenever he wants. Yeah the church and these villagers are fucking sickening bunch. I'm pretty sure the real timeline they're even more fucked up and sadistic compared to what they have shown here. This is why religion is a joke as a whole. Your pretty much following people without even understanding what they're reaching for in the first place. I'm glad Edwina had finally shown her courage to actually save Maria. Even though she only knew Maria in a short time, i'm glad she still stood up and help her since she knows Maria is a good person. Didn't know Edwina's familiar was spy to the church :O Show is getting good!! though it's a shame there's only 2 episodes left and i know they already ended the manga rather too quickly. I really hope Galfa dies in the next episode. That scum needs to die in the ditch for what he did with Maria. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| DDY delayed. What an action packed episode! Viv is still overpowered by Arch-angel Michael. She falls but at least only injured 1st time we've ever seen Joseph get so angry! Edwina rescues Maria on the right time! Face-off Joseph vs Galfa! |

| Same case DDY. Poor Ezekiel, all this blood :/ The second half was full of actions, I loved the OST when Maria was saved by Edwina. Galfa will surely die in the next episode, let see what will happen. |

| Not bad storytelling, perhaps Garfa find death at the hands of Joseph, would be an epilogue guessed, but we would see Mary in giving the coup de grace. However the best context in the story, for me, is in the opening minutes. I smell a possible sequel, who knows. Nice drawings and set designs. IZEROII said: Edwina you rock!! I agree. |

| Wow holy crap ... Viv got hit really badly D: Not to mention Maria going to get burned at the stake ... that sure was fast. Luckily Edwina pulled through for them! DANG it was intense when she flew in ... however I couldn't help noticing the fires also went out ... let's just say she put them out with her arrival ;P She seems to be pretty strong too (or well, maybe just against normal humans lol) and her familiar transformed! :O Maria's heading straight for the battle unsurprisingly ... and seems like we'll have Galfa and Joseph facing off next episode. That should be good! |
