Nice episode - a bit more focus on gameplays on the field.

Really liked some of the throws from the outfields towards the bases. Otherwise, the show has been keeping its momentum. A captain has its responsibility though and so does the coach. Gotta say that the training got more rough this week too.

Probably one of the most enjoyable episode for me.

Some of the team thinking that the coach has given up on them, far from it. The third-years learning that the Coach would quit and decided to hold the celebration match early. The thought of the third-years doing this for the Coach and the team *tears forming*

The third-years were really amazing as always. Yuki representing the third-years to ask the Coach.

Ryo's remark about bullying them, that reaction by the second years. Masuko getting fatter too, really makes me want to see them more.

Nice to see some of the third-years that didn't get to play too, Jun and Yuki's hits.

Great match, with Kuramochi finding out, wondering whether he would tell the others or not, the bench has quite the atmosphere.

Definitely been waiting for this match for a long time now :D

I absolutely love how jun-san and ryosuke were bullies and just all the third-years are ossim as always. Very glad to see them once again.

Really goes to show how much the new team has to improve on for sure. So it's really nice seeing this match between the senpais vs kouhais. Tetsu's hit, Tanba doing really we'll when he's pitching. Just overall this episode made me giddy again haha.

Also bakamura is adorkable as ever.

Can't wait for the next episode woot woot!

Pretty good, it was at least a less painful episode than the past few.

If season 2 is starting, does that mean we're finally getting a new OP? Can't wait.

Enjoyable episode. Been anticipating this match, and it's looking good. Also liked the advice from Tetsu, to Miyuki, "If the captain look lost, the team will be lost". 2 more episodes left and we're on to the 2nd season!

"Inheritance" is a fitting name for this episode. Glad to see the 3rd years back in action, everyone including the coach needs a serious wake up call. Tetsu once again proving why he was the captain. Tojo's intense pitch-tier pass and Zono's pre-game speech are making me like this new group a bit more now. I hope to see them grow as much as the third years have.

That picture after the preview was hilarious, Sawamura's pitches better start working their magic.

Kuramochi thinking that the coach was the one who asked the third years to play with them with that timing. But nope, it's the other way around! Ah, I love how close the Seidou team is, the third years really care about their kouhai and coach. Good job Ryousuke teaching Furuya the harsh way :D It all started with Ryousuke's walk, and then all those runs. Ochiai though. He thinks it's excusable that almost all pitcher's start games off weak? Really? He should also know that beginning of the game is crucial to the team's morale. Who wants to start off a game with so the opponent team scoring so many runs...=_=

Seriously. This guy has so much potential. Don't give up, as Jun-san yelled. Toujou already more interesting as a character than Furuya

I feel bad for every single person who doesn't watch this show.

Didn't expect the senior game. So flipping good to do this right now with the team being so lost.

Nice episode, although the new coach continues to get on my nerves. Hope he either changes his behaviour, or Kataoka remains as head coach.

Damn Tojo!! Can we lock him in as a starting outfielder now or what. And with Kawakami heading into his final year of H.S baseball I wouldn't be surprised if he made a push to become a relieving pitcher. Great episode this week, always nice to see the 3rd years in action again.

Ending card by CLAMP *.*

Somehow...
I feel like this was really nice episode
and everything is just painfull,
because it is final game with 3 years,
because of coach's quit after fall game.

Also... that new coach... -.-
Hope he will change his way of thinking,
because it looks like he wasn't really liked by players in his previous team.

The fun and refreshing episode was nice. DnA isn't the same with the 3rd years.
Tojo's shining though! That smacked a grin on a face.

Tell me again, how is this new coach considered a good coach? he'll never raise players like those 3rd years.

Loving this game, it's about damn time something exciting happened again. And wow Tojo. It's good that he finally showed off his strong throwing arm, after they lost Jun and Furuya when he's pitching.

That other coach tho. There's just nothing to like about him so far

He creates aces, he would make a monster out of Furuya by destroying the rest of the team. And if you have a good ace who can both pitch and hit, you have most important areas covered. Not to mention pitchers and clean up hitters are the only players who really get the attention from fans and media. New coach built his name on raising ace players, not teams.

That's why no one ever comes back to visit him, cause he sacrifices a team for just one player.

New Seid sure is pathetic in comparison to 3rd years, they really are the ones who held the team high. Not massive fan of any of the characters but 3rd do appeal more to me.

Though Tojo is raising my interest, hope he will try himself out as pitcher. We need more interesting pitchers. Furuya is boring, Sawamura annoying and Kawakami is non existent. Tojo would be a nice addition to this boring bunch.

Excellent episode as usual. I actually burst out crying when Tojo threw that ball back to home base. Amazing. I'm really liking the new soon-to-be starting line up!

Two more episodes until season 1 ends. I can see where this is going and I think it's a great decision.

This episode was somewhat funny yet sad at the same time. Knowing the third years won't be able to play baseball for seidou is really devastating

Well at least we still have some of the Juniors and first years like Kuramochi, Miyuuki, Furuya and Sawamura. Though the 3rd years were pretty awesome and it just won't be the same : / I think what I'll miss the most about them is the nicknames Sawamura gave them, like how he always called Ryo "Onii-san" xD

So not only does the new coach have to be an abrasive ass about everything, but he's also just plain stupid to boot and yet acts like he's the one who has it all figured out. Yep, real likeable guy. His genius plan would most likely just blow up the entire team. :/

Makes me wonder why the mangaka put him in the story in the first place. I hope he will be used for some decent purpose in the end and isn't just there to basically be an annoying asshat.

About time we get another hype episode.

The third years are still something else, but I hope that the new team can surpass them at the end of the nationals.

Masuko having the same 'cute belly' problem as Azuma I see. Respect to the seniors for giving this much needed wake-up call, which will make me miss them even more as the current team mostly feels like a bunch of nobodies...

What is wrong with this new coach? He doesn't like it when students have strong wills. What the hell? He's going to be the worst coach at this point.

I wish the third year could convince the current coach to stay because if he leaves, this team is going to only focus on Furuya, which is horrible because the team itself deserves to be acknowledged. This isn't a single player sport, it's a team sport.

I wouldn't come back to see an ass coach like him.
