| Akane's backstory, even though it was short, was pretty good. I am impressed. And it was pretty sad when she started tearing her notebook apart. Two episodes left, the conflict just started. Will this arc end just enough with two episodes? And will Mikado finally developing as a character? I am not sure . . . We will see. L3XJam3s said: It doesn't feel like Durarara!! anymore. | Finally we got to know more about Akane. Holy shite she's cute as hell! <3 Really enjoyed this episode overall. Damn Izaya and his scheming, they never gonna stop. Can't wait for next week. It looks to be intense. |

| LOL didn't expect that when the episode started and Akane was talking without break :D Just had to start laughing when I heard how Izaya convinced Akane to attack Shizuo xD oh no poor Shooter D: First getting all depressed and then having to stay there with this freakin weird head oO Too bad it's already ep 10 now that it starts getting serious. There definitely wasn't enough Izaya thus far. |

| Akane's past was decently interesting. She stood up to bullies only to realize her new "friends" were actually just scared of her ... I liked how Izaya got involved lol :P He really seems to be on top of things! Not to mention "Kida" was actually him too ... so that's why the chat history got erased then! Things are starting to pick up :D Kadota and that leader go to fight it on at their school. Then we've got people trying to kidnap that girl (who I don't even remember) and then Mikado and Anri going out as well. To be honest there are so many characters it's really confusing ... >_< Plus it got kind of slow, because nothing really happened D: Oh well, hopefully next episode will have some more action. At this point I'm not sure if I want to watch the rest of the sequel series ... really failing to hold my interest for long :S |

| I love the OST they used at the beginning of the episode, one of my favourites. I really enjoyed hearing Akane's backstory I really like her character. I'm waiting for Mikado to do something interesting now. |

| Well, we got some back story on Akane, which was actually pretty good. We also saw how Izaya manipulated her, though as others have pointed out I'm not so sure that was actually Izaya in the flashback. Other then that nothing else really happened this episode, just more build-up. Only two more to go, so I'm sure shit will start to get crazy again next episode. |
