| Aya, no contest. Though I give the dub studio points for preserving the Voice Actor Joke between Haruhi and Konata. The Lucky Star dub in general was awful, imo one of the Worst Dubs Ever (I'm looking at you Patty and Akira). The Haruhi dub was mostly good (Crispin Freeman and Johnny Yong Bosch were great, Michelle Ruff and Wendee Lee turned in satisfactory performances, but Stephanie Sheh's Mikuru was a bit... forced), but the thing that utterly sunk it was 'Live Alive', specifically the translations of God Knows and Lost My Music, which were not only translated wrong, but then they were sung by a tone-deaf American in her late forties in the role of a high school girl. Should have kept it in Japanese. |

| Dubs are worse 99% of the time. So, while the dub for Melancholy is half decent, it doesn't hold a candle to the original. |
