I would say the main reason, was the Kazekage arc, I thought she had the biggest spotlight in it, in terms of characterization, and having the biggest thunder so to speak. More specifically, I liked how she matured mentally, and how her relationship with Naruto, changed from something superficial like hitting him because he is an annoyance, to being more considerate and thoughtful towards him, and deeply caring for him, to the point of breaking into tears, when she heard about the fate of the Jin's. That and her combination with Chiyo was very well done, be it in the fight and action sequences and choreography or the interactions between the two of them. Another arc, I was fond of her, was in the war arc. She had a lot of great moments, though I wish the issue with Sasuke was handled differently, like I was led to believe, it was literally the only thing making her come of as mentally weak, everything else about her, showcased her as a mentally strong woman, with independant thoughts, and one who speaks her mind, and cares for her comrades. |
