| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, Tsubaki was amusing as a kid. Lol, I think some of her reactions are pretty hilarious. It was also kinda interesting to see Arima's past I guess, since he had a connection with Tsubaki and even the cat. Episode pacing felt a bit slow but whatever. It builds more on Arima's interpersonal connections especially with Tsubaki. I find it interesting how Arima admit so naturally about his feelings for Kaori to Wataru. I mean, it was a bit obvious that he knew but still...god, I hope Kaori will be able to live through this. |

| New year. Some memory with the childhood girl and after that cat was thrown away. They show that childhood girl understands him. Now it's main guy's turn to be jealous. She hinted her confession and he's shocked. He is confused, though, and that affects his practice. Airplane at night sky representing their connection between him and pianist girl. When the friends officially became love rival, piano girl's condition is... Somehow I saw his eye became expressionless. |

| Tsubaki finally being able to say it like that and get Kousei's attention. To see Kousei getting flustered after seeing Tsubaki! Being always there for each other and the cat :/ Admitting to Watari about his feelings for Kaori! Watari is really quite the friend, but that goes for the everyone else. Seeing Kaori deteriorating and the incident with the cat... really looking forward to next episode. Sigh, the ending is so close. |

| Damn... I should have seen that coming (honestly, I probably did) but there was no way I could ever be prepared to actually see it. That was just horrible. Other than that, the episode was not even close to being as good as any of the last five or six. The stuff with Tsubaki wasn't very interesting and simply felt like it was covering lots of stuff that had already been covered before. I'm seriously hoping that her stuff is done with now so that we can focus on Kaori for the final two episodes. |
