| This is getting more emotional each new episode. Loved it. |
| So whatever Kaori has, the surgery won't completely save her. Regardless of the outcome, she would still be on a clock. But as long as she and Kousei can play again, just one more time, that would probably be ok for her. So she fights. Like the Kaori we knew in the first half of the series. Takeshi gets development today as he lets go of his image of Kousei as this unfalliable god. Finally a powerful performance from Takeshi and I must say the piece really fit the image I had of Takeshi. Rivals really do drive one to better themselves. Great episode, if not a little slow. |

| Wish the surgery will give Kaori a bit more time so that she can perform with him one last time together. Maybe Tsubaki is going to confess her love to him after seeing the preview for the next episode. |

This was the episode where they stopped seeing one another as competitions, and started accepting each other as fellow musicians. It was beautiful to watch. That said, I can't believe that Takeshi was always losing to Emi as well (poor kid, it's already traumatic enough to be losing to Kousei XD) I laughed so hard at Emi's inner monologue ("Arima's sitting next to me...he smells so nice" Internal fangirling). It's hilarious how her expressionless face induces fear in Kousei, when all she wants is to have him look at her. Tsubaki acting like a smartass was hilarious. I loved how her friend took her down a peg by mentioning "must be love". Girls who work so hard for the one they like. Attractive quality. My opinion of her went up in my books. Kaori..... sigh... I'm gonna cry soon... |

| Tsubaki was really cute in this episode, I like how Kashiwagi is pushing her forward! Kao-chan =/ she is going to do the surgery, btw, until now I don't remember they saying what her illness is, some manga reader can tell me? Takeshi!!! Amazing, so happy Nagi could welcome her hero back and he could say goodbye to his! |

| Once again feelings all around, Kaori :( love the ending, happy to see them all together again talking,smiling and let the pressure out. only 3 episodes left. |

| It would be nice if Kaori could at least performed together with Arima again .. ive been waiting for it a long time... please oh please.... im torn between happy ending and the most reasonable ending. i want kaori to live, but that would really kill the feeling we had the entire anime. if she doesnt make it, it will be sad, but prolly thats the best route |

| Pretty meh episode, I really didn't find Takeshi's performance interesting, it felt more like a chore from creators. Fluff before storm when you think about it. Also, I am starting to wonder if they ends with cliffhanger leading into second season because as things are now there is no way we would get decent closure with only three episodes left. |

| This show is so awesome. This show is so good. Holy cow i love them all, I like all the characters. I want ARIMA KOUSEI TO WIN. I want Kaori to get better. I want Tsubaki to get Kousei!!! I also want Emi to be with Kousei!!! Damnit!!! Why are semi harems so hard? I want everyone to win but either one person wins or nobody wins. 5/5 going to miss this series as the end draws near. |

| I enjoyed this episode more than all the others were the drama around Kousei and Kaori builds up. Was really cool to see those three together at the competition and the flashbacks were nice, too. Not much has changed for them ^^ |
| The 3 champions eating together :3 both Emi and Kaori click so well with Arima even though one hasn't seen him for 2 years and the other is a new friend :D I will support either of those girls he pick but Tsubaki on the other hand ummm...not so much :P |

| The operation has given me a bit of hope to see Kano to the end of this season. I wish that's what will happen. The preview hints a confession in the next ep? Interesting :) |

| Oh boy I'm in love with this anime. I want to ask the manga readers here one thing: Will it be revealed what illness Kaori is suffering from? There are a lot of theories out there but I want to know the exact illness and I don't want to read the manga at the moment. |
| Kaori moments are so heartbreaking, I hope she can get better. This episode was wonderful, the scene between Takeshi, Arima and Emi was very good |

| The pacing in this episode was a little slow and I found it a little less emotionally intense as the others, but a break like that isn't bad. The scenes with Kaori were emotional; I teared up a bit at some point. I really enjoyed the interaction between Kousei, Takeshi, and Emi. I'm excited for a little more of that. But whoa... only three episodes left! |

| I like the competition bond between Kousei, Emi and Takeshi. Though I think Arima never really cared about competing with them, lol. With only three episodes left I'm wondering whether they will have enough time to make a memorable and beautiful ending. Maybe second season? Reflecting on how Kaori's health is I kind of doubt it, but it's not impossible yet. |

| Dayum, this anime really gets to me, like few other drama series have. The correlation between the artwork, music and monologues is just awe-inspiring. One of the things I like most in this series, is that they know how to pull some comedy of, without making the drama awkward. |
| I laughed on the part when Kousei was telling to both Emi and Takeshi that his egg sandwich was tasty. Those three are not anymore like serious competitive contestants...and more like happy go lucky friends now. |

| That Emi/Takeshi/Kousei scene was awesome. and I totally forgot that I used to ship Kousei with Emi... Damn you Nagi for being way too precious. Between Emi, Kousei and Takeshi, I like Emi's playing style the most, but as Kousei is a prodigy + plot-armor, he is obviously going to win. I hope Emi comes at least second. |

| There's always something so powerful and moving about watching characters who struggle to do the simple things I take for granted. Something stirred inside of me as Kaori was doing everything just to walk again, all for that dream of playing the violin again. It was high time that Takeshi got his chance to steal the spotlight and shine. He finally stopped chasing his fantasy of Kousei the Hero and was able to humanize his rival. Not as something to become like, but as something to surpass. I can barely believe I only have 3 episodes left, I really want to make this last but I can't stop the momentum. |

| Not bad storytelling, featuring a little more character Takeshi, as well as giving an interpersonal relationship between him, Emi and Arima different than it was before, as well as giving a greater maturity and he Arima for now. Plot that has no novelty, along a road already known for some time, a little annoying not see any new idea. Drawings and animations as fairly good quality, very good performance by Takeshi piano; I can not wait to follow Emi and Arima. Smudy said:  KAWAII |
