| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was pretty. I just love Nagi's confidence while she is playing next to Kousei. That girl has the talent to capture the audience of the audience. Playing for her hero <3 I thought they had a good rhythm for the performance this episode. Takeshi's reaction was pretty priceless after the show. And also, Nagi's rivalry with her classmate was also amusing imo. |

| Duet, huh. Or rather, competition. Childhood guy calls violinist girl so that she can hear their performance. The little girl also plays to tell her brother that main guy is not "hard" like her brother said and wants him to stand up again. There's growth on her, too. Brother (KajiKaji's character) being jealous is so cute! How she said is so misunderstanding. It made him burn with fighting spirit now. It seems like little guy with glasses is jealous over the main guy. He, then, asked violinist girl to perform together again. |

| When Kousei changed his playstyle even I shuddered. So Kousei and Kaori will attempt to play together, just one more time. They both realize she doesn't have a lot of time, so just one more performance for them will be possible. I'm glad we get to see some of Kaori's previous fun personality. It's been a lot of doom and gloom over the pass month for her. It's time to dream, just one more time. |

| That was a really amazing way for Kousei to bring the best of Nagi out and with Nagi doing the same for Kousei. Nagi's determination to play for the ones she loves, it really was quite intense how the performance could've easily broken down from a view (also ignoring episode count). Takeshi reacting to the slight touches and manners of Nagi was great! Nagi's really respects Kousei after what happened it just really showed with her even arguing with someone so naturally. To face the topic that the double suicide was brought up and asking Kaori to play with him again on a stage. |

| Really nice episode :D Really loving Nagi a lot now :3 Dat duet was so awesome. Kousei is quite the S XD Going evil aura mode. Props to Nagi for keeping up. Really nice ^^ And her smile was really sweet <3 It's amazing how Kousei went from "I can't hear anything" to "I can't concentrate, I can still hear the sound of the piano it's an annoyance" O_o XD Loved Takeshi's reactions XD Dat jelly oniichan "Don't look at her as a woman" lol Poor Kaori. Her parts are just so sad D: Playing Air violin and the end with Kousei asking her to perform with him :( Why is life so cruel. |

| Nagi is so precious,she's by far my favorite character so far(not like there's any competition) I know it's supposed to be dramatic and all,but would be nice if there'd be at least one episode with no melodrama. sigh |

| Best episode. Masterpiece quality. To me, everything was near perfect, the music (no added visuals like in Emi's and Kousei's performance, just the music speaks for itself), the comedy (Takeshi blowing up, Nagi and whats-his-name fighting over Arima) and the emotion (Kaori and Kousei on the rooftop) Fuck, man. |

| I loved every second of this episode. Beautiful duet. <3 Both pianists were amazing. They've grown so much. Nagi's friend, the one with brighter hair, looks as if she were Watari's sister. I mean I know that they're not related, but they look so similar. Not really important, just somehow it caught my eye. That conversation between Kousei, Takeshi and Nagi. "He's teaching me all kind of things." Lol, Takeshi's reaction was great. :D Also between Nagi and Mike. Meowing dragon. XD And that jealousy. Fighting over Kousei. ^^ And Kousei with Kaori at the end, to add some sadness to all this comedy. Knowing how manga ends I'll have to prepare a lot of tissues for upcoming episodes... |

| Pretty good episode. Nice performance and not too much Kaori's drama. The kid is becoming likeable. I liked how she didn't give in to Kousei during the performance. |

| This show really knows how to pull off beautiful music performances, and this episode was no exception. It's nice to see how much admiration and respect Nagi has for Kousei now that she has realized her passion for music. She's definitely grown a lot as a character over time, and I'm liking her character more and more with each passing week. I laughed at the part where she boldly proclaimed to her brother that Arima has taught her "all sorts of things". So freaking misleading, lol. And, of course, I appreciated that last scene with Kousei asking Kaori to perform with him once more, with the girl feeling conflicted about the idea, because while she knows that she doesn't have long to live, she can't fight her passion as a musician to play on the stage once again, even if it's the last thing she'll do in her life. As painful as it is, I'd actually hope for a realistic ending with Kaori's death, and Kousei moving on with his life as a musician due to the newfound strength she's given him, than a magical-esque ending where Kaori somehow survives. A happy ending just doesn't fit the mood of this show, nor would it be at all realistic, in my opinion. |

| great duet but i wish they move kousei's and kaori's relationship up a bit ~_~ They tend to talk in musical terms only. They don't even know each other personally that well :/ |

| I like how they don't ruin this anime/manga with ROMANTIC relationships and focus on the subject at hand. They tease you just enough but don't drive on it. |

| 4 episodes left until Koari says goodbye.. I'm heartbroken even thinking about it now.. Great job on the duet, the manga was awesome but this adaptation was ultra-sugoi! |

| It definitely was a good performance from Nagi and Kousei. I just wonder how they are going to bring this anime at another level with 4 more episodes. Right now, I agree that the score is about a 6/10. |

| Oh snap, preview for next episode says "Goodbye Hero". NO!! 10/10 this episode. The performance was brilliant, and Nagi quickly became one of my favorites. I thought Kousei was going to get lost in his own thoughts again since he changed the tone of the song but then Nagi stepped up her game and went toe to toe with Kousei. |

| This episode was so moving. I got caught up on the music and what they were all feeling as they were playing. It made me cry halfway in the performance. When Kousei said, "Out of my way!" in his head and started overwhelming Nagi's performance, that shocked me. When Nagi is able to keep up with him, the play was even more amazing. |

| This episode was absolutely beautiful. Nagi and Kousei's performance was amazing to listen to and the animation during those scenes were top-notch. The final scenes with Kaori and Kousei were really nice and touching too. Overall, amazing episode! 5/5 |
