Here, we can talk everything EDM!! Whether it be dubstep or trap music, feel free to share anything you think is worthy- I mean, cool to share!

We could also start another Rate the song above kind of thing here if you guys want. I'll leave it up to you! (If we do start that game make sure to include "#RTSA_EDM" before the rating and song)!

Oh, and the rules of the Empire also apply here!

( ^_^)/

haha cheers mate. the first mix on there is absolutely crap, the drum and bass one is aight but I can do better. I have a trap mix that I did like a year ago so I might chuck that one up but yeah. Glad you like it.

Really need to get back into mixing -.-

Need some EDM to listen while doing exercise. Any recommendations? Anything that isn't too chill would be good. Thank you.

Are you into Drum and Bass?

If not. Quick Electro-House Artist List: (old) Madeon, (old) Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Feed Me, (old) Mord Fustang, Kill The Noise, Nero.

Edit: If it's for exercise I Highly suggest Dnb, namely hard/neuro DnB. Nothing better than hardcore fast-paced pump-up in your face bass music.

Actually I feel that this is appropriate. Spor (also known as Feed Me) Just released his debut album 'Caligo.' you can get it for free or pay what you want on BitTorrent.

^I love the fast pace with that song! Sounds really good to listen to when you're heart is really pumping! (Especially when its around 240 bpm!!)

It may be a miscalculation, but when I do my 15 min power exercises I learned from when I was in Tae Kwon Doe, my heart beats really hard at about 4 beats per second. (When I say hard, I mean that I can feel my pulse on my face and in my palms without checking them through placing my fingers on my arteries)

..Is that normal during the peak of a power workout?

Dude I dont even know aye. Sounds borderline bad though. I'd say as long as you aren't feeling dizzy and/or have chest pains you should be all good, but I'd say look for a more professional opinion. /r/Advice (or any health related sub-reddit) may be a good place to start.

Some great artists there. Loved them all. Will definitely listen to them for the next gym session, thanks.

Yeah, I listen to DnB. I used to listen more often than now, but my favorite genres right now are electro house, glitch hop and nu disco.

Glitch Hop - KOAN Sound, Bassnectar, Gramatik, Space Laces

Don't really buy into brosteppy-mid filled tracks but this sounded interesting.

Yeah, Koan sound is amazing. Sly fox is my favorite song by Koan. I'll check the other artists out, thanks.
My favorite EDM artists are: Virtual Riot, TheFatRat, Sam Padrul, Chuck, Rhodz, Rameses B and Mullaha. I used to listen to a lot more but I'm more into jazz now. How about you?

Oh! You should watch Sakamichi No Apollon!!! It has quite a bit of Jazz in it~
(It also changed the way I listened to Jazz!)

Rameses B? Good man. Artists come and go for me but the ones that have stayed the longest are Culprate, Porter Robinson, Feed Me, Pendulum, The Prodigy & Daft Punk (They're working on a film for Nile Rodgers' new record btw).

Favorite genres would have to be Drum and Bass, Electro-House & Breakbeat. Kind of phasing out of Dubstep although its been a good run. Also like me a bit of experimental & Futurebeat as well (Culprate, Asa, Serph)

Funnily enough anime taught me to appreciate Classical Music. The Non Non Biyori OST is probably my favorite and the Spice x Wolf ED I like very much.

Also Congrats Jay :)

Has anyone heard those EDM tracks with vocaloid incorporated with them? I'm in love with them.
Future bass + Vocaloid

Electro + Rhodz + Vocaloid

Jazzy, groove + vocaloid

Love them all.
Anyone else listen to future bass?
