May i ask what drawing with g pen is like? Is it super smooth?

I used a Korean ballpoint pen that's .28mm. I enjoyed using it in my self portrait/Tokyo Ghoul mix-up!

I use a regular pencil for all of my drawings

Yeah, i never really took extra thoughts in my choice of drawing tools, so i just use a normal pencil, but it might be fun to try out different pens or pencils

@moreallnighters: Yeah, and it's pretty hard to handle the first time you use it ._.

Its soo cool!! I love using pen since you have to kinda improvise with that sort of thing whereas with a pencil you can rub!

I use them all the time for all my traditional works, and yeah... G-pen is very difficult to control.
G-pens are used for thick lines, another nib you can use for that is Kabura-pen, also called Saji-pen, this one is a lot easier to manipulate.
As for the drawing, you should watch other people's drawings and analyse them, you added too much shadows, they are ok, but not with the style of that drawing, if they were completely black they are probably gonna look a lot better. Use Maru-pen for the hair, just do it, you'll see the difference by yourself. The detail of the face, draw the ayes with maru, there's no problem in there, but if you draw the shape of the face with G-pen, use G-pen for the nose and mouth as well, it's better if you use the same nib in those cases. I don't know the size of the paper you are using, but prfesional manga artist use B4 size, which is bigger than A4, it's very difficult to find and expensive, I only use it for competitions. Now, a very practical tip, just because DELETER is the brand that has more advertising budget doesn't mean it's better than the others, I use tachikawa nibs, they are a lot cheaper than DELETER ones and the same quality, same for the ink, I use Kuretake black ink, which a LOT cheaper and better than DELETER when you have to work in colored works with markers and watercolors at the same time.

I think that's all at the moment.

Can anyone give me opinion on which colour should I use for her eyes?

Not exaggerating (well maybe I did with the font XD). But I really liked it is all O^O.

Hmm for the eyes, blue or green. Blue because the dress coordinates with it or green because it might suit with the blonde hair. (Try to test it out) Or you could do blue AND green (don't know how XD..)

Someone said green didn't suit her because of the colour scheme I chose, but I think I will try light shade of green. Maybe dark blue. Thanks Gelai!! Now if only I remember how to colour digitally, haven't done so for a year.

Thank you guys, but that's rather an exaggeration really. Let's just say this is a fairly decent example, my works are a disappointment in general.

Lets say beyond decent. And yea, the colour coordination might suit blue more since it would follow through with the colours. But gl with the digital colouring... I'm trying to do graphics now too so I might ask you for some help if I can *^*?.

Hope you can show the finished outcome when you've done all of the finishing touches! And take your time and have fun with it~ ;3

Sure. I have forgotten a lot of things, seeing how long I hadn't painted, so it will be more working and learning together for us I think XD I use both SAI and Photoshop, so my knowledge are limited to the basic usage of them.

And I have SAI but it seems a bit over-complicated so I'm using another program even tho its a bit more simplified, I can still get the results if I apply things in a certain way ;3. But yea, experimenting!
