Whoa, is it just me or does some of the mech designs gets more unusual. Nice fight though in space and the momentum of warfare is all-time high..

The potential of the G-Self is also shown quite well in battle imo this episode with Bell as the pilot. That whirlpool cliffhanger though...

The Gaeon was awesome!

So, are the G-IT corps the main bad guy now?
Whatever happened to the space fleet and the capital army?

It certainly was, a shame the pilot isnt though.

I think the G-IT corps has been the main bad guys from the beginning, them being behind whats going on at Towasanga, but because they're based around Venus we're only now getting to see them.

The Towasanga, Capital Army and Amerian space fleets have all been left where we last saw them, around the moon. The crescent ship is built for interplanatery travel and the Megafauna hitched a ride, literally leaving the rest millions of killometers behind.

I was kind of hoping Bellri was going to stick to the G-Arcane for a bit longer, it was nice to see someone actually making good use of what is clearly a strong mobile suit, but it quickly went back to Aida, who really shouldnt be allowed to pilot anything.

Woooow, the mecha porn in this episode was glorious. I loved the mecha with the lightsaber hands.

The ending was very interesting. So there was some kind of a world inside that sphere? 'Garden of Eden' perhaps?

The ending was very interesting. I wonder what kind of world is inside that sphere.

A sea in space, that's not bad at all.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they're trying to culture an artificial Earth in this Sea Sphere. I hope they configured some automatic shielding into the floor though or else this project is finished.

So basically, G Reco is about... SPACE CANNIBALS?!

its all revealed ;)

Haha G-iT corps just look at earthlings as scum to be wiped out... and apparently eaten?

Aida said "I don't want to be turned into a kuntala and eaten by them"

And they look all huge, wierd, and roided out? so weird! am i on the right track here?

The reconguista is going to earth and wiping out the pathetic earthlings and turning them into food (kuntala) i guess.

Also, they have gone beyond building space colonies to... actually recreating the earth in space?! and bellri just popped a hole in it LOL

I hope they do a season 2 for this show or we at least get more Gundams set in the Regild century.

20 episodes in and the story is still pretty vague. I don't even get what these new guys are fighting for.

They are up in the venus globe the people who make the photon batteries and have instituted the quasi religion and tabboo on earthnoids to try to prevent the mistakes of the universal century...

and there is obviously two groups up there... The Rosario Ten are probably somehow connected with the Hermes Foundation and seem more benign and just want to prevent wars maybe... but these G-iT lab guys look at earthnoids as scum and even want to turn them into "kuntala" and eat them... (maybe this accounts for their roided out appearance? they are like super human newtype cannibals? LOL only tomino)..

but yeah the G-IT wants to carry about operation reconguista which is probably about taking earth back for themselves and turning the earthnoids into kuntala... maybe so they don't have to mess with the environment? not sure about that part but they are rebelling against the rosario ten...

If they want to take earth back i am not sure why they are pretty much recreating earth in space but I am sure it will be explained.

seems pretty straight forward to me!

but i have watched alot of tomino..

I am very interested to see how that white hair guy and mask will play out.. mask has been labeled a kuntala from the beginning so it seems like he would want to fight with bellri against these guys but that white hair guy seems to have something up his sleeve...

Episode that would be interesting, if I just analyze the narrative during the various stages, not taking into account the emotions of the characters, because if we trespass in this other field it becomes more complicated.
In short the story is enjoyable, but the psychology of the characters is still poorly managed in terms of narrative, if we analyze their actions.
New mecha, it sprouting in every episode, that abundance!
Drawings and animations good, messy plot but still interesting, catchy soundtrack.

The main complaint about this series so far is that the characters behave irrationally and naively. Tomino always had issues with how the characters are portrayed.
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Good episode.

Still confusing though. I don't know why can't just Tomino follow what he did with Zeta and ZZ.

Ever since after ZZ. Almost all of his story arcs have been confusing, especially Char's Counterattack.

I don't get how they took over Megafauna and stole G-Reco, yet they didn't bother tying up the prisoners or disabling their Mechs in case they do something like this?

Why is the girl crying out of nowhere? I know her objective is to just capture G-Reco, she can always do it as many times as possible.

Also why are they surprised that there is a sea inside of a colony? Pretty sure almost every colony in Gundam history have always have some sort of artificial sea.

At least the fights are getting better.

Can't wait for the next episode. It seems the series might reach Episode 40-50 :)

The characters' emotions are confusing and irrational. Like they have a mood swing.

The fights are good, and its still enjoyable.

I was doing a good job at following the story but ever since the Towasanga people showed up at Sank Porto I'm lost. I honestly don't understand what the fuck is going on.

Tomino, give back Raraiya's fish >_<

Is it just me or is there a noticeable increase in (good) CGI for large-scale shots of the ships in the past few episodes?

"Nya" - Annette the seamstress

"Previous Crescent Ship", so there're some iterations.

Apparently this is the first time "Regild Century" is actually pronounced (I don't think Turn A's timeline was ever pronounced)

Aida showing concern for the air leak after the injection :3

The G-IT gang music theme kinda reminds me of a certain track from TTGL.

These 2 episodes at least returned to good old gundamjacking. And funnels!

So the Rosario people are engaging in some "1000 year old dreams"

Apparently even the leader of that G-IT gang thinks that G-Self is an Earthnoid creation.

I wonder where did the map come from.

Now I want to see an outside shot of the sea flowing out into space

Aside from Raraiya's goofy face on the monitor in the beginning, the show keeps looking good. The still shots during the fight were badass.
