 Game developer Rejet's New Work Announcement 2015 event Snow Virgin Road was held today and included an announcement for the second season of Diabolik Lovers. The first TV anime season was based on Rejet's otome game by the same name and aired during Fall 2013 in 15 minute blocks. An OVA episode is also set to release on February 26th with the upcoming coming game, titled Diabolik Lovers: Dark Fate. Along with the second season, a stage tour and new project of "proposal-themed" drama CDs were also announced. The series will be titled Diabolik Lovers: Bloody Bouquet, and each CD will be released monthly for one year beginning in April 2015, completing with 12 discs. | I can't imagine how this could be a good thing because the first season was such a poorly adapted show. It was terrible and missed the entire point of the game. Plus the only two characters that weren't assholes didn't get a proper portrayal. Well I guess if anything they'll give us Azusa who is one of my favourite characters. Not really looking forward to this though since the sequel game was really, really bad. The anime will probably follow suit. |

| Everyone expected something big from the announcement page featuring Dialover~ It's nice that the Mukami brothers will appear in a proper season now. And if they won't again start to release one thing after another, I wonder how much this and the live action (and some wanting to buy the OVA) may affect DF's sales. By the way, what about the other new anime announced by them? | First season was hard to watch. No doubt the second season will be as well. And I'll end up watching it because I'm anal like that. Hopefully it stays 15 minutes long, though less will be fine, too. |
