horimiya san to miyamura kun the basic idea and Horimiya is the "HD" reboot.. kinda,
Horimiya is better in every single aspect ( imho )
so just read Horimiya, hope you´ll enjoy it as much as I do :)

The webnovel also had some "dark" moments that are not covered in the manga since they were kinda creepy

I think it is safe to say we are all. There seems be a lot left out and some stuff changed for various reasons.

I wish I could but only the first 5 chapters and 1 or 2 random chapters of the web comic has ever been translated. I especially want know what is said in a conversation he has with his middle school friend (can't think of name.) after chapter 37. Someone said there is a lot more said in that conversation than what is in the manga what is important.

Yep, and there is over 500 chapters. They made hundreds of extra chapters after finishing the main story that are mainly comedy. Apparently the manga is taking some the extra chapters and inserting them into the main story where they fit. At least that is what I read.
