I found the mood a bit too heavy, I like my Aria with a more relaxed atmosphere. Can't say I didn't love it though.

Ah, this episode was so sweet!~
I really like how Aika cares so much for Akira and how she's worried about her~ Moreover, I find it funny how Aika was the one that helped Akira cheer up ^_^

ok, though last episode was the best, but I take that back and say that this is the best episode yet.

I think that akira&aika have the strongest bond, followed by akari&alicia, and lastly alice&athena (huh, just realized all their names started with an "A" :o)
so we need more background on athena...

loved it, like aika said, "beautiful story ;.;"

Incredible episode focusing on two of my favorite characters. I can totally understand the Origination's incredibly high rating.

OHHH MY FREAKING BALLS. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS EPISODE. I JUST CAN'T DESCRIBE MY LOVE FOR THIS SHOW AFTER THIS EPISODE. I TOTALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN I FINISH ARIA, I'LL BE THE SADDEST PANDA EVER.

Okay so there are many things that I fell in love with in this episode. Those are:
1. In the beginning when Akari, Alice, and Aika went to the market and all of a sudden Athena and Alicia came and showed their talents in public. I was like "OH SON OF A GUN THEY'RE FUCKING PRO." The lady selling tomatoes was funny too, lol.
2. Aika. Come on girl you're awesome. Don't let this natural talents or whatsoever make you down. As long as you work hard, you can get anything you want! Now I see why she was depressed in the beginning. Poor Aika. T_T The ending was also funny as she said something embarassing and she regretted it, lol.
3. Akira. YES GURL YOU'RE AWESOME. YOU'RE EVEN MORE AWESOME AS BEFORE YAA GURL. Her past sure was very lovely. I loved how they made it so dramatic, like the hair was being blown by the wind and such. YEA TEACH THOSE NATURAL TALENT KIDS HOW TO ROW PROPERLY SON.

Okay so that story Akira made was extremely lovely. I loved how she got her determination from little Aika(OH MY, YOU SO LOVELY GIRL.). So all you need to do is work hard for something than you don't have. LOVELY EPISODE MAAAAN.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS EPISODE! I'M TYPING WITH CAPITAL LETTERS!

Alice's control is pretty outstanding... and pretty fast even in narrow waterway. While Akari is just the adorable girl next door everyone love. Aika, ever since she lost her long hair, her character is not quite the same anymore. She turns into a crybaby and everything, at the same time, showed us her true sensitive, caring character.

I can relate to Akira, like her, I use to be haunted by the fact that others got more god given talent when compared to me.

And ORIGINATION enters my TOP 5. It can only go up at this rate. A wonderful episode of the two crybabies of Aria, Aika and her senpai Akira. While we see Aika cry a lot (I so want to hug her when she cries) often Athena mentioned that Akira used to cry a lot too. They are both so alike, both have no special gifts like Alicia's grace, Athena's voice, Alice's rowing skills or Akari's friendliness, but both of them are doing their best.

The four-leaf clover thingy made the episode one of the best things I have seen yet. If you don't have it, you make it!

Oh, looks like Akira and Aika have far bigger bond then it looked at first.
Aika always thinks that it is her sempai that support her but looks like in reality she is the one who supports Akira and is almost her guardian angel.

Aika relates herself with Akira on being the most normal and hardworking. it's sad to see her depressed like that.

Akira's bond with Aika is really nice. More like all of these girls bond are heartwarming.

Ah man, it's Aika who cheered up Akira in the old days! I love things like that. I love love love how she made the four-clover leaf, it was such a precious scene.

Humans can do anything if they put their mind in it. There you did it Aria, you managed to motivate me.

first half had me crying, just wonderful, those scene with Athena and Alicia warmed my heart.

and the second half was just amazing, for some strange reasons i didn't realize that the little girl was Aika and you know, i was surprised .. and happy.

Beautiful, Beautiful, i love this anime so very much. <3

They really tightened the story writing and dialogue compared to season 1 and to a degree season 2. Every dialogue and progression of character development, I just feel that there has been so much more clarity and expertise in Origination. There was one episode about the confectioner that I didn't connect with but that may be due to preference.

And here I thought people were exaggerating when they claimed Origination truly was the best of the three series. It's rare for a franchise to improve and deliver afresh, come the next season, honestly it's just been non-cringey feels every episode, hitting the mark that makes it so relatable in a bubble gum fictional Venezia.

This episode was very well-done in hitting the depressing points and display the parallel of the Singles to their Prima mentors. Aika’s depressed thoughts and monologues was really relatable here.

I like the 4-leaf clover analogy. Finding them are rare among other 3-leaf clovers and signifies those of the talented. Little Aika decided that since there are no 4-leaf clovers in this pile, there’s nothing that can be done. That realization is hard to swallow especially for Akira during that point. Instead of giving up entirely and moving on from trying anymore like Aika suggested, she unknowingly gave Akira the solution to her problem to cheer her up.

The rose pedal is supposed to represent Akira’s heart. Instead of naturally finding a 4-leaf clover, Aika’s going to make one herself by taking a rose pedal and combining it with a common 3-leaf clover. Due to the different nature of the clover, Aika likes it much better than a regular 4-leaf clover.

Messages:

1) You don’t just need natural talent to become a 4-leaf clover. You can become a 4-leaf clover through unnatural means as well. The 4-leaf clover status is possible for anybody as long as you put your heart into it!

2) This evolution of a 4-leaf clover makes you stand out from the other natural 4-leaf clovers. Other 4-leaf clovers can’t possess that evolution since they’re locked out of taking the hard road. Therefore, being able to have that drive to complete the hard road is a unique talent that talented people can’t have.

It’s a very nice message to the people. It twists the view that hard work isn’t a talent since everybody can do it and shows that it actually can be.

Now I’m going to work hard to study for my finals and courses! I might suck now but if I keep on at it in a smart way then I might just make it!
