| I know some of us refuse to watch a certain anime series either due to not being interested in the plot or other reasons. But what are some older ( or newer ) anime that you've missed out on and you don't know why you have not tried it or put it into your plan to watch list. For me I haven't seen anime like Ruroni Kenshin, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam or Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is not like I hate mecha, honestly I don't know why I haven't tried it. The reason this question comes to mind is because I recently started watching Legend of Galactic Heroes and I am overwhelmed by how good this anime is and got me more interested in older plots rather than the abundant RomComs we have today. So what do you guys have in mind? |

| Trigun: Only watched one episode then forgot about it. Cowboy Bebop: I still haven't bothered to finish it. Princess Mononoke: Never have watched a Ghibli movie so I don't know if I will like it. Dragon Ball Z: Almost 300 episodes and over 20 years old?! No thanks. Hellsing: Already watched Hellsing Ultimate so I've never felt the need to watch this. | LotGH Dragon Ball Berserk I would like to start the last one, I just don't want to start reading the manga after finishing the anime and then have to endure the long hiatuses. Dragon Ball is a really popular series which never aired in my country, so I never got round to watching it. Its art and plot don't seem really intriguing to me. After all there are plenty shonen out there who have used some main elements from Dragon Ball. |
