| The beginning of the episode made me wonder what I was watching at first, it made for a nice foreshadowing of what Ryou would be eating this episode though. Poor Shiina, if being allergic to rain was bad enough her being doused by a puddle of water made her catch a cold. The end card is very good and done by Koi creator and artist of Gochiusa |

 Go away, I don't want your dumplings. I know I would adore it if this episode was directed by Junichi Sato. There won't be as many colorful images but the mood would be much stronger when Ryou learned about and had a sense of connection with her grandma. When SHAFT does it I just can't take it seriously especially when Ryou was acting so goofy the entire time. |

| Shiina being surprisingly frail, the rain armour! It was nice to see Ryou's childhood as she visits some of the places where she used to go often! It was quite warm to learn that her grandma learned to cook better to impress her grandchild ^^, it would be really nice to see her actually appearing in the library the first time. Cooking and carefully changing a formula just fit someone's taste! Even the convenience store worker reacted! Dear the closest convenience store, after seeing the popcorn chicken found in this anime, wouldn't it be nice to have it integrated at your store too? Everyone loves their chicken! Quite the variety of food. Cheers, Your biggest fan The dream is one of the weirder ones! Almost felt like cannibalism in a way lol. |

| Ah geez I'm beginning to think this show shouldn't be allowed to be as wonderful as it is! Even with Ryo on her own this week I still had a big goofy grin on my face throughout the episode. I suppose she wasn't REALLY alone though, thinking about the people who care about her. Kirin's mom snatching that last spec of food was great btw. I think this mighta been my favorite episode so far. Watching Ryo learn of her Grandma's struggle to better her cooking for her sake, as well as reflecting on their convenience store lunches together was so friggin' heartwarming. Plus meeting that same guy again was pretty humorous. Even with Kirin far away Ryo still wants to cook for her...so sweet! My god the feels...the feels are at maximum! Thank you show, thank you for existing! :D |

| ITS SO CUTE. Lord help me. That scene at the preview was just so adorable. YOU GO UN-AGING OLD GUY! I miss the sound that Kirin's footsteps make though lol And I totally feel her confusion at what to do without Kirin around. I feel like that when i'm in between semesters at school. And when they hell are they going to introduce the neighbor thats always in the background? Or is she just gonna be a running gag? Also, everyone noticing that the main girl (what the hell is her name again?) is still the same as she was when she was little was funny. This show is straight up food-fanservice. And I am SO okay with that. |

| Ryou was fated to be alone this episode. Kirin couldn't resist the three-star Chinese restaurant and Shiina's luck was especially bad to be splashed by a car and hard raining. XD Damn. I can't get over the way Ryou eats her meals, no matter how many times I see it. So charming! So erotic! :9 Nice knowing a little more about Ryou's Grandma and her sincere efforts to make good foods for her grandchild. The warmth while thinking about her childhood made Ryou feel a lot better from her loneliness. > "What awful manners. Who raised that child? Oh right. I did." XD Decent episode. The salesman trying to cheer up a frightened chibi Ryou in the preview segment was too cute! :3 |

| I said it last week and I'll say it again, BEST OF THE SEASON. Another great episode! Ryou and Kirin are inseparable, I love how close they have become. I can't believe she ditched her for some chinese food hahaha. Kirin's name has such a great ring to it when Ryou says it Shiina and her super formal texts lol didnt think she was actually gonna get wet with all that protection on until the car drove by It was funny when the convenience store cashier dude was crying xD Gotta love grandmother, she's so sweet. | Gotta say, this episode was really smooth and relaxing, two aspects of why I like the SoL genre so much. =D The preview music is SOOO catchy that it never gets old. The salesman cheering up the younger Ryou in the preview was really adorable! XD |

| The cream puff scene lol A bit lewd when Ryo ate the rice ball, orange filling... I generally dislike going out to eat at expensive restaurants. Like Kirin said, the portions are small. Some restaurants serve one small piece of halibut for like $200 or more. A bit of hips movement when Ryo was cooking at home. Crossing fingers for latin food soon. Preview for next episode: Slurping and Gulping o.O I have a feeling it's going to get very lewd next week. |

This was a nice blend of info dump and healing as we learn more about Ryou's Oba-chan and also get to revel in more slightly erotic food segments as this weekend is spent alone after being sorta discarded for some three star restaurant. Now I really wonder how Ryou spent her days off in the absence of Kirin and Shiina. Oh, and that picture of the corner store cashier was awesome too. |

| Surprisingly one of my most look-forward to shows of this season after Shirobako. I hate the ero-eating scenes but the whole nostalgia bit and cooking for someone you care for is really sweet. Hope it keeps up. |
