| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was fun to watch. Maria is still trying to adapt with her role while more trouble arises around her. The episode felt a bit slow imo but overall was fitting with it style. I'm not sure what to think of Ezekiel yet. Her presence in the show brings out a more colorful Maria but I find her somewhat annoying. I also find some of the creatures in this series to be quite fascinating. Some looks like it's fantasy while others looks more real like that fox.... Good episode overall. |

| Joseph still wanting to protect Maria despite defying the god's will! It was nice to see him confess xD Ezekiel getting sent to watch over Maria instead. Ezekiel getting teased and bullied lol. It was nice to see that there is still a way around the punishment! Losing virginity = no more power though :O Confronting the church already and declining their offer. I wonder what would happen when the church decides to exterminate Maria :( |

He seems to be a good person but I have a feeling he's gonna be quite the extremist later on. |

| This anime shows a much deeper understanding of western faith than you usually see in fiction involving angels and the supernatural, nevermind Japanese fiction. Did not expect the god Cernunnos turning up, and even less that incredibly fitting speech. Joseph turning his arrow onto an archangel and invoking "love thy neighbour" was very powerful. Ezekiel was also cute, though different from how I've imagined it. Michael disappearing looked amazing. |

| These angels are all a bunch of dicks, but thanks to watching Supernatural for many years I'm used to it Ezekial has a huge stick up her as but with time I think she'll become likable, her personality isn't all that bad tho I lol'd so hard at the part when she got ganged up on by Artemis and the Incubus but then I died when the Incubus complained about not having a penis yet....All he wants to do is fuck bitches xDDD Pretty good episode overall, I really enjoyed watching Maria give not only the angels the middle finger but that priest as well Also is that dark presence at the end suppose to represent Satan or something? |
| Hmm i did some checking apparently the manga is only 25 chapters in total. I dont know how it ends since the chapters have not been translated but i am guessing in this series Maria will be the key to end the 100 years war. it could be she loses her powers or not. Also i think the Angel's perspective of Gods Word should be questioned. this is going to go on a much deeper role regarding how faith in religion and the truth of realities will be and i can't wait to see how it ends. THe fact they included Cernunnos quite fits with the situation of Maria in her role cause Cernunnos is a celtic god that actually has no real definite interpretation of what he truly was or is... there are thoeries but nobody knows what he truly represent just like how Maria is in this situation cause even tough she is a witch she does good deeds and her motives and actions cannot be defined by said of being a witch or a saint.... just like how Cernunnos is not defined what he truly reperesented but the most common accepted theory is that he representfertility life and death withc fit with the words he said to maria. A good Show a very good show indeed.. Lets see where this goes from here. |

| The show's just getting more and more interesting. Glad they held off putting the whole "virgin" thing into play for a while, waiting until she had some reason to want to get rid of it. Maria continues to be a pretty great character in this episode. I like Joseph, but so far his character seems a little bit boring. He's got decent development, but I hope he gets fleshed out some more. The version of practiced Christianity in this anime is actually really accurate, and I like that. Keeps everything grounded in the historical setting. Also, jokes about Priapus's lack of package of any sort will never not be funny. That's 3 great episodes in a row now - this show's as much of a surprise to me as Bahamut was last season. It might not match it in style but if these 3 episodes are anything to go by, it makes up for it in substance. |

| You tell them Joseph. Anyway, some are warmongers, some are balance keepers, while others just don't want any wars. Depending on the story, I can be swayed to any side. In this case, I like Maria. Also, here she's more of a saint than the other saints, including God! For a witch, that are seen as evil, it sure feels nice.
