| Yeah i do usually watch one piece after school with my mum ( she was a big fan though ) and some others occasionnally + movies as ghibli or kyotoani for instance And my father, as my mother likes old anime : city hunter, cobra, captainflam, captain herlock, hokuto no ken, goldorak etc... Pretty popular in my family |

| Yeah my parents know, it woud be hard to hide when they running into my room 24/7 or that i got around 1k manga volumes and a few figures. The parents woud not be the problem it woud be the friends u call friends or the outsiders. PPL dont know what anime/manga is so they just think it is chines porn. So when i'm out it is easier to not talk about it then it is to talk about it. I dont give a fack what ppl think, but it becomes annoying to try to explin what it is. And if ppl take me seriously or not i can't say. |

| Yes and my mama fully supports it. My grandmother loved hearing me talk about it and I'm pretty sure I got one of my aunts into Death Note. The family knows my love for One Piece by heart, like they know everyone's name and everything. |

| My mom knew I did when I was 12. But I stopped watching it when I was about 13. I picked it back up again as an adult, but I don't think she knows. Or maybe she never knew I stopped watching it in the first place and thinks I have been for all these years lol. |

| Oh yes, And they influenced me as such. My mom watched anime like Voltes V, Astro Boy, Doraemon, Nintama Rantaro as a child. She also made us watched it as a child. We have VHS collections of those classic animes. When I was growing I took control of what I anime to watch, and my mom grew out of it but she did still watch with me. She is a fan of Rorouni Kenshin, Hunter X Hunter (the 1999 version), and Naruto. My family is such a huge Naruto fan, that when it ended my dad went and bought a limited edition of Naruto DVD set from the animation studio itself. My mom bingewatch it with me while waiting for Shippuuden. She watched these shows with me growing up. I made a bet with her in these shows to which all her bets came true and I ended up losing. She didn't like the animes today but there is one anime that I influenced her to watch would be Ouran Koukou. After that, she is really not into it anymore as she prefers watching Asian dramas. |

| Yes, but if they say what I'm watching I say Japanese cartoons because they don't know what "Anime" is and it's easier to explain. When I've watched certain Animes with my sisters, my mom would watch along but not really concentrate on it. |

| Yes they do, and whenever I do something weird they say "Are you copying that anime thing?" and it's become really annoying. The only case when they were right was when I practiced the hand seals for Chidori. Since I watched Bleach with my father and he realized how awesome anime was, only my mom does that anymore. |

No, my parents just think that its just a cartoon, but realty is that my parents never come to know whether I am watching anime cuz I watch anime at night, ecchi anime and In day time I watch normal action anime which is not embarrassing to watch in front of everyone. |

| I'm 28 but my mom knew I watched anime/read manga when I was in middle/high school. She never watched anything but Ghibli movies but did take me to cons and helped get together cosplay for me. Now we both cosplay and go to cons together. :) The last con we went to I dressed as Sailor Jupiter and my mom was Mama from Kodocha. She had never watched the show though, just liked the mom character. We started watching My Hero this last year together though over Zoom and she loves it! We also watched A Silent Voice and I think we'll try Wolf Children next. My mom is v cool 👌 My dad has no idea what anime is but he did surprise me by watching all of Princess Mononoke with me a few years ago, although I don't think he really knew what was going on lol |
| yes they do my dad is kinda familiar with it because he watches dragon ball but one time i was watching seven deadly sins in the living room and my mom was next to me and the scene when Meliodas was squeezing Elizabeth ass my mother looked at me disappointed and she says why do you watch this. |

| Yup they do know. I've even watched some anime like cells at work or flying witch with my family. They were skeptical at first ( like they thought it would get boring ) but they really enjoyed it. We actually binged it. It was fun. |

| Both of my parents know that I watch anime. My mum even watched Death Note and Season 1 of Attack on Titan. She loved Death Note but she wasn't a fan of Attack on Titan (maybe because of the gore). My dad on the other hand, thinks anime is for kids. |

| Absolutely. My dad is a massive anime fan and was the one to introduce me to it when I was young. We used to watch Astro Boy, Captain Harlock and Star Balzers together before we started to branch out to more modern things. He still watches anime and recently finished Demon Slayer. My mum also knows I watch anime and was hesitantly supportive of it when I was a kid. She was pretty cool with it until I watched Steel Angel Kurumi which she insisted that I could only watch with her in the room (likely so she could turn it off if it got too raunchy which she never did). She's bought me several anime products like DVDs and figures and used to go with me to cons when I was a minor. |
