What do you do the most?
| I'm sure this question has been asked at some point, but I haven't seen it lately anyway. I was thinking that this is a video game subforum in an anime forum website. And hell of a lot of you love video games (including myself). So what do you priortize. Do you play video games more than watch anime, watch anime more than playing videogames, or do you do an even time split with both ? Or do you just do whatever your in the mood for (could be anything ranging from anime, video games, hanging out with friends, cooking, reading, watching movies, watching tv shows, whatever other hobby you can think of). Myself, I can log like 40 hrs in a week into a deep rpg or something when I'm on vacation. I tend to play lot of vijavascript:void(0);deo games on vacation or holidays . I will say though that when I'm not on vacation I usually don't play much video games unless its playing with friends or maybe loging a few hours into a game on the weekend. Its just easier when I'm pressed for time to watch an ep or 2 of anime , sometimes its too hard to pull myself out of a videogame only play it for 1hr or less epsecially rpgs. |

| I've been getting sick of video games lately, so anime all the way. I was playing Destiny before, but the level cap raise was a huge turn off and I don't feel like grinding anymore. |

| These days, I watch Anime way more than I play video games. I only play a couple video games a year. It's not that I don't want to play them, but I keep on procrastinating on doing it. Somehow, it's easier for me to jog down the road 7 days a week than it is to press the "Power Button" on a video game console. |

| MMO > Anime > Other Games The only MMO I play right now is FFXIV, after a new patch, I'm usually busy for the week, or if not much new content, just a couple days. I'll usually end up skipping a few daily releases because of it and just catch up on a later day. Though in most occasions, I just log on and afk to watch anime. Other games, as in single player games and what not, since I'm not really affected by having to do this or that within a certain time, I just play them whenever. |

| Anime; much easier to pick up where you've left off. After about a month away from a game, I get extremely apprehensive about continuing it because of all the poor decisions I have historically made (especially in turn-based-strategy with permadeath) whilst trying to remember how I had rationed my inventory, or what plans I had for leveling. There's also an odd sense of completionism I have, which makes me feel guilty when starting another game and leaving others unfinished. |

| For me its video games all the way! After watching anime for so long over the years, you finally come to a point where you've seen most of what it has to offer. Once you've seen one big eyed moe character, you've seen them all. Not that video games can't be guilty of the same thing of course in its own way, but unlike anime, l enjoy being in control of the story. :) |
| Anime has always been secondary to video games for me. I really only started to get into anime a lot more about 7 years ago, but even then video games still always preceded it. |

| I used to play video games a lot as a kid. But then got back into it. Then anime came into the pictures, and I have been watching anime more ever since. Anime > Video Games |

| Not even half a year ago I would spend like at least 7 hours daily playing MMO (and at times much, much more, during my summer holidays when I returned to playing WoW I got 64 hours played in little over 4 days). Nowadays it's about equal, although I no longer play MMORPGS, just league and hearthstone |

| I love both, but I pretty much have to watch anime every night. It's basically crack... D: However, there are certain games which just draw me in (e.g., Virtues Last Reward, Danganronpa). |

I used to be heavy into video games, for a long time. However something clicked in the past 6 or 7 years and I slowly weaned myself off video games. I feel they are a complete waste of time and I can't bring myself to play more than one or two hours a week, if that. So I mainly watch Anime, and the reason is because you can do a lot of stuff when reading subtitles. I personally like to practice Guitar, while watching Anime. I can just bullshit for a few hours and get through a lot of episodes. I like multi-tasking, time is limited and life is short. |

| Probably anime, but I like to think the effort goes into video games. I still play like 10+ RPGs a year, mostly JRPGs with a few loot based clickfests thrown in. I think the best offerings ahead are with games rather than anime, but in reality I'd rather just sit on my ass and watch stuff rather than kill monsters and craft items all day long. |

| Well, I mostly take turns with watching anime and playing games. Like them both but I don't have the feeling that I'm missing out on something with anime like I do with games. |

| I definitely play more games than watch anime. Games with story, however...not massive time sinks like MMOs. As the OP mentioned though, anime is better when you have a smaller amount of free time available. |

| I've always preferred to observe than interact. I've been a gamer for a long time but my love for movies, television and stories will always be greater which obviously means Anime comes first. |
