THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Haha, the voice actors for Oingo and Boingo are pretty damn perfect.

This "fight" has always been so hilarious for me, god I love it.
Oh my goddo spotted.

I didn't expect the thema ED, great job DP.

Time for Scooby Doo Oingo, Boingo & Iggy to shine. I just love the spooky OST and slapstick in this episode. It's also nice that David Pro already started to change Iggy's design towards it's later appearance and a few other things like Oingo's shirt.

Speaking of the ending:

"By the way......... we're doing something a bit special with episode 27. Make sure not to miss the end."

So maybe there's something after the credits, or they're gonna do the ED in the Thoth-drawing style or something. That'd be cool.

I am glad this prediction came true because this is easily the best thing ever. I laughed so hard at it.

Pretty fun episode with a lot of creativity. I had this smile on for majority of the episode and even that hilarious ED was awesome. Can't even get that song out of my head right now D:

No but seriously, that's a fitting way to wrap up this episode.

I laughed so hard at this episode. And I figured they'd use a different ending. Last Train Home is too somber for these two.

And FINALLY, Anubis next two episodes! :D

So much fun!

It would be so great if every studio were like DP. They sure can handle an adaptation.

Ha, I love the humor of Ooingo making all those faces while looking like Jotaro. Nice ED as well. Oh, and I love that they outright focused on Polnareff smoking, kind of felt like a jab at Jotaro being censored when smoking.

To be fair, Jotaro is underage to smoke while Polnareff is like late 20s? Early 30s?

lmao Polnareff is just the worst

highly amusing episode, the voice actors must have had more fun than usual, you don't get to voice a frenzied "Jotaro" very often

I know, and I was wondering if David Pro made a sight gag at it by focusing on it in a fairly lengthy shot.

The new ending song was hilarious and amazing at the same time! Now I'm really hopeful about and ending with "Holy Diver" or "Egypt" with it! :D

Good to see positive reactions pretty much everywhere. This is a really weird part that not everyone loves, but it has a lot to offer.

My favorite aspect of this part (other than the artwork in Boingo's manga) is how the Oingo Boingo brothers are such terrible stand users that the crew doesn't even realized they've been "attacked". Off the top of my head, I think this is the only instance of this in JJBA.

Absolutely hilarious. I had a smile on my face the whole time and the special ED was a treat too.

That kid's manga looked like it was created by the artists of Dead Leaves while they were under the supervision of Hunter S. Thompson.

Ok they didn't mention Dio but their stands are Khnum and Thoth, two egypcian gods.

And N'Goul said that this new enemies have the stands of 9 egypcian gods.

Great episode, the voice acting and ED were especially good. Based on the preview for next weeks episode, the fight scenes have an increased budget, so that'll be nice to see.

He's ridiculously socially repressed, hence the stuttering and why he's generally hiding off to the sidelines.

Nope, Jotaro doesn't smoke does he? Polnareff just told him to do it because he was acting strange. It was actually the first time I remember seeing Polnareff smoking (maybe it's just my bad memory...)

Jotaro smokes. It's just been censored by black bars every time. I believe the Strength aftermath is one of the times.
