Do people in Japanese high schools really have this much sex?

So above question: It seems like the characters in this anime have an obscene amount of sex, to the point that almost everyone in the school is having it, and there is even a sanctioned area for people to do their business.

I've spent a semester at a Japanese college, and can say from experience that this is not the case there, or in any of the secondary schools I visited. I think its the same in most anime too, where it takes the entire series for a guy to simply ask the girl out, where this guy is ahead of the curve, getting 2 girls in 1 episode.

So does anyone have experience in a high school; western or japanese/can support or refute what this series presents. I am curious to know, especially in light of everything I have seen.

Though even eroge adaptations (like Clannad) don't have people having sex at every chance they get, so School Days is not the rule, but rather the exception.

Usually in Eroge they are routes, and you get to have sex with each girl route.

There is more sex in School days, because it's main theme was cheating and Makoto being selfish and only caring for his sexual urges, it was what the whole story is about.

I understand that, but would like to know if this kind of sexual action is only for the purposes of the story, or if things like this happen in real Japanese schools, and we just don't hear about it. I've done my research and know my shit, but this was the last question thats really been bugging me.

I severely doubt that this is an accurate portrayal of real life. Also, you basically just asked whether an anime , set in high school, is real. 99% of the time, the answer is no.

Of course, the number has most likely increased by now, but doesn't that indicate that Japanese high schoolers probably have less sex than most other industrialized countries' teenagers?

I've heard that Japanese guys are often indecisive and not as confident as their peers from, say US, so I wouldn't be surprised if having sex life in HS wasn't THAT common as anime/eroge shows. But tbh I'd be even more surprised if there was none, lolz.

Well I can’t say for Japan but in the US. State of Pennsylvania, in a well off school district with above average income. I had sex in high school many times. Including most of my class especially popular girls with the guys that liked to party. I’ve even been with a few inside the school in different locations. We also started high school in 7th grade which I was 12-13 years old. We used the auditorium seats and girls locker room on a couple of occasions. Also I remember the history teachers desk while he was on lunch break and we snuck out of the chow hall. And the girls would tell others about their “time” with you and their friends would want to test it out. I think it’s funny now that I’m nearly 30 years old and tell other parents that if they believe their 12-15 year old children are innocent that they are sadly mistaken. I am employed in law enforcement which is the exact opposite of my high school agenda but I see those preppy kids are mostly junkies now days especially the men. The preppy girls look beat up, rode hard and put away wet. And the shy bashful girl who’s dad was over protective “giving curfews to a 18 year old girl” no boyfriends super dad. Now made the happiest husband in the world because that girl is a wild savage beast that can only be tamed with raw meat lol. But you gotta love her she was so innocent... not any more. That’s what American high schools are like... public ones anyway.

I dont lose my virginity because i never lose. It's so sad to see how ppl view sex in these modern days. Sex is a sign of intimacy and there are boundaries. Yet modernization has destroyed the whole meaning of sex, which was once deemed pure and beautiful into something like a common necessity. Yes i came from 8 years into the future to tell you this. Im the genuine representation of the very few people who still holds the belief of anti-free sex. Where a lot of people might view me as a person with conservative thoughts yet I wish to restore the purity in humanity.
